Tutorial: How to install Windows Phone 7 on the HTC HD2

Hey, i have a prblemon the first thing when you open up the program and it goes up to 1% mine just gives me an error and i don't have a software on my phone, i can't do nothing! i tried everything, when turn the phone on it coes onto the red,green, blue & white screen! Please Help!

HOW DO I HAVE THESE ERRORS? IDID THE SAME AS YOU. I HAVE TWO ERROR DISCRIPTIONS AND DONT KNOW HOW TO FIX THEM. IM STUCK IN MAGLDR MODE AND WHEN I RUN DWI.EXE IT SAYS STATUS ERROR HAS OCCURED. DID I HAVE TO CHANGE THOSES TWO THINGS BEFORE EVERYTHING OR SOMETHING?

If your not getting internet connection you need to go to settings, Mobile network and go to the bottom to click on "apn"

Search "APN Settings For HD2 WP7" on google and it should be the first link

To find your service, When you have found it enter it on the phone.

Has anyone developed a non-NAND WP7 ROM that'll run from a SD card, just like the FroYo ROMs that are out there? (I'm using NexusHD2-FRG83D V1.8 Froyo 2.2.1 with JMZ dual boot loader on HSPL2 and radio 2.15)

I'd rather not overwrite my WM6.5 until I've tried and tested WP7 on my cherished HD2.

Once they changed my mobo, everything was fast especially the sense, they upgraded the rom as well. Im still trying to think if i should give this thing a go again or try android or other sh*t instead -_-" i might risk another mobo haha

@kovacevic1975 i had to bring my phone to the service center, they replaced the motherboard. I believe that the 1st set of the hd2 has problems with the motherboard and just fried the thing when i did these steps to change my old htc sense to wm7. I got mine change still under warranty despite flashing it ü lucky for me

I did this and it's awesome and all, but there is one irritating thing that was not exactly done on this ROM, which is as far as I can tell is that you cannot tell how much battery life there is, there's only the fill up box but does not tell you how many percent there is left. And also after installing this ROM my MicroSD 4gb card is not showing on this Windows Phone 7 ROM, which is quite disappointing as I cannot store anything on my phone now. Do something about UPLOADER. Thanks.

If your device, at any point, encounters a problem, hold down the Volume Down button as it boots, and it should take you to the bootloader (tricolor screen). From there you can flash Windows Mobile back onto your device, and reattempt. Good luck!

when i tried it. after installing the utility, my HTC HD2 got stuck on its white screen where the HTC logo is at. it has been 30 minutes already and it doesn't want to move. i tried a couple of steps like hard resetting doesn't work. installed the leoimg.nbh on the memory card and booted it. it doesn't work. HELP! what are the compatible roms for the windows 7? so i would find it

it's perfectly recoverable. Just search XDA or my personal fav is Fujifilm or Olympus camera format...they can actually make it work again O.O.
