  • I need some help uploading my video on my facebook. When I share a link it only shows the title...... INSTEAD OF SMALL VIDEO CLIP TO PRESS. It only shows the link!! Can you help me? I hope so... your my last hope!

  • E1M3 music.

  • Thanks for this - I couldn't find a good one!

  • "quality is flawless" switches to 280p "Quality is Fuucked"

  • Its not THATgood

  • Great tutorial, just saved my deadlines...Thanks dude ;-)

  • how long does it take to upload 3.08 GB?

  • thank you! techtopia is my hero

  • TYVM!

  • Very helpful. Best video tutorial for HD on youtube.

  • I've seen some videos in 1080p (or something like that) on youtube, what settings do I put for that quality?

  • What program do you use for screen recording?

  • Also, MPEG4 has better quality than WMV. I tested this theory out a few times and MPEG4 looked 10-20% sharper than WMV. The file size is a lot bigger with MP4 but i think the rendering time is a little bit quicker. I'd go with Main concept AVC/AAC MPEG4.

  • Can youtube display 1080i ? I do animations that include a lot of my own pre rendered clips. Should my pre renders be in HD too, or should i just worry about the final render being HD? I use Targa for my images, but the pre renders are in WMV. any feedback from anyone would be great because i want my halloween episode to be in HD. I also use Vegas Pro 8 for animating/effects/editing.

  • Wow that was amazing

  • Hey, Erik, this is great man, thanks so much for helping us out. I really was getting poor results from rendering my videos until I watched this. Now they look fantastic! I wanted to show lots of videos on my site so people could see how to do the quests. You are a good explainer. Much appreciated!

  • my vids have the size 500mb + -_-' is that normal?

  • @RogueCoup Sadly yes... And Idk how to change it.

  • i love you!

  • Thanks a lot!!.. you talk continuous.. without taking a breath... lol..

  • dude shit the quality is flawless.....haha!

  • dang this bro is amazing how the hell does he no this stuff his videos are amazing!!!

  • nice porn music ;)

  • dude you rock

  • You know what you wanted to say. You got your point across. Editing was simple yet effective. You have a good speaking voice. This is one of the best Sony Vegas tutorials I have seen. Great job. Congrats.

  • How come it's not available in 480p???

  • lol it doesnt take 30min to show HD in youtube for me it takes 5min or less , well i think that depends on the video size i guess ..

  • Thanks man!

  • Thanks a lot ! This is amazing !

  • thanks alot dude!

  • Thanks for this video, really helpful!

Just one thing I wanna mention. I followed everything exactly as you did but my videos are really getting big in size. I don't see how you got ~80 mb out of a ~9 minutes video. Whenever I created a video like that it's like 10 times bigger.(around 800-1000mb).

Could the size be depending on the recording method? I captured a video with Fraps at 50fps from a game.

Anyways, really thanks for this video. Just the little thing I mentioned above. ^^

  • @Ixamp i have a video abouth 2 min or less and it is around 70Mb size , thats becouze i used alot of effects masks and so on , but your are too much big , u should watch tehctopia's tutorial how to render a video.

  • Is this ganna look in YouTube like This??

  • @TheRedyem yes!

  • You make nice tutorials. Please make one on how to get rid of black bars (letterboxing) when shooting in 1080i widescreen 16:9. I'd like to know how I can make it full screen. Thanks.

  • if you're watching this video, you've pirated Sony Vegas.

  • @nigeleckzdee Have we though? :D

  • @nigeleckzdee

I'm no so poor that I couldn't afford £30 to buy it. Trololol @ those poor people who had to pirate it

  • @nigeleckzdee Why's that?

  • @nigeleckzdee Well i bought the movie studio version, but i pirated the pro version 5 months later because it the movie studio version was limiting my creativity, so basically, Sony owed it to me.

  • thx

  • thanks for help

    Thanks for the help.

Video is up at Doberman Black Swan

    Tom

  • cheers mate ;)

didnt do anything waited an hour for it for nothing to happen

  • It's not THAT good. =s

You just cropped the video and exported it in wider frame size.

If you really want the best result, just export as uncompressed AVI, compress it with Xvid4 and fix any lines that might appear with deinterlace.

  • will you marry me? THIS VIDEO IS SO AWESOME I ALMOST PEED MY PANTS.

  • how about 1080p?

  • @230395halo 1920 x 1080 usually

  • @230395halo 1920x1080, 29.97 fps, 48000 kHz

  • @230395halo at 2:05, instead of HDV 720-30p (1280x29.970 fps), you need to change it to the last option of HDV, which is HDV 1080-24p (1440xq1080,23.976 fps)

  • @230395halo 1080p is not really that good

  • @230395halo

1080p hasnt apparently to do with best high quality.

    usually , 720p is better

  • @230395halo just export as HD 8Mb and it will be 1080p :)

  • Thank you so fucking much! This is wat I needed. No joke I actually just friggin victory danced!!!!

  • Thank you so much!!!

  • decent size?6mb/sec... 1 minute video is 600mb! Too big for me,it will upload for hours... :( Do you have any settings for good quality but smaller size?

  • @commandos71 bro! don't worry just go to my channel! i have a video which is that u can make your video better than 1080pHD. i know better than 1080p if u didnt heard when u upload a video to youtube with my settings it will say original HD.

  • Uhh a note to you Mate, For the people who MUST do SOMETHING computer related while rendering: (not all of us have quad core 3.2 ghz processors with 8gb of ddr3 ram >:D) But You CAN watch videos you have saved on your hard drive WHILE rendering and it will NOT slow down your computer at all, as it uses ONLY your graphics card. (if you use a low resource video player like VLC media player.)

Helped me while away time through many long renders.

  • Nice vid thanks, been so long since i used my Sony Vega id forgotten alot

  • you rock mate YOU ROCK!
