No, it is not hard. This was the first piece I have ever played on a guitar. So, I can tell you: practice. I got it from the official ..And Justice for All tab book. Might help.

Yeah man I guess i'm just used to power chords and picking as opposed to finger plucking. Finger plucking is a lot more involved, there is more coordination than just strumming up and down. Lot more to think about while you're playing.

You guys love your metal down there in South America huh? I seen some videos of wild ass concerts down there in Brazil, Argentina, of people just going nuts over Metallica and Megadeth etc.

@AnnaNicolesDeathbed Well you are onto something, somewhat. It's SORT of hard because it uses unusual chord variations of fairly common chords. Other than that it's just practise really as bruno said.

Actually it is right, note for note. It only sounds like there's more notes because in the original he phrases some of the notes differently as it continues and because of the tinny madolin type sound it adds different harmonics than a typical clean sound.

I love this part on acoustic, but metallica isn't extremely talented. There are far better... anyone could write something as nice sounding or better. Inflames Varmlandsvisan acoustic song, the into to Moonshield is amazing, I also love the acoustic part on Jester Script Transfigured. The song In Flames has a nice little acoustic part on it. I think In flames is far more talented than Metallica. But then they aren't pressured to play a certain way. They do what they want and for them not fans.

right hand based techniques are alot harder to learn from a tab he's giving you an up close view of his left hand which in tern gives you a perspective

for the advanced guitarists it's more useful to see it done
