These are the IP's for openDNS. I recognized them as soon as I saw the numbers. Basically you are just changing DNS server, that's all. I guess your ISP's DNS servers suck compared to the servers of openDNS.

just google "what is dns server" and click the first link. with a minor amount of reading you will use commen sense to establish that using a manual dns server has no effects on your connection speed. I suggest learning how to say protocol before making another rediculious video. you cannot have a connection speed higher than what your ISP limits you to....its impossible. if its lower than what your paying for...try an rj-45 cable. otherwise the cable going into your house might need replacing

Just to be clear this does NOT change your internet speeds. That's controlled by your ISP. What it can influence is the speed at which you connect to a domain. What your changing here is your DNS. DNS is used to translate domain names (XYZ.com) into their associated IP addresses

I believe the ones provided in the video are for OpenDNS, but its better to find the DNS which is best for YOU. Using a tiny program like Namebench or DNSBench (more reliable) will show you which DNS is best for you
