yes, ppl in hk actually do talk like that. the reason why they sound so "different" from cantonese-speaking ppl from u.s. is cuz hk ppl actually speak correctly .. we, on the other hand, have our canto mixed with english sometimes, so eventually it comes out w/ an "american" accent. i admit i have that accent when i speak haha
