Why doesn't he quote the passage where Damascus (Is 17:1) will no longer be a city? Or where Egypt will be desolate for 40 years (Ez 29:12)? There are many more passages like this. Christians say those will be fulfilled in end times. So God is against a specific pharaoh (Ez 29:3), and he's going to punish him by judging Egypt 2-3000 years later. If you make enough predictions, and each prediction has several details, some details of some of those predictions will come true. You ignore the misses
Wow, So God can predict Nabuchadnezzer by name, but can't predict Alexander the Great by name? He's like the greatest conquer in the history of man, and you mean to tell me that God almighty could give this man the name of Nabuchadnezzer, but not the name Alexander? Really?
I thought the flat-topped fat boy said Nebuchadnezzar was the one who conquered Tyre. NOT ALEXANDER THE GREAT. Don't you think the Bible shoulda reflected that?
All we are saying is replace the word "jesus" with "fig newton" and all you people look like insane individuals. Think about that for a really long time.
Yes it´s VERY DISTURBING and ultimately the only thing he achieves is weaken your attention to both the speaker and to what he "saintbrigitta" desperately wants you to read. He is very aggresive and pushy putting out the message, something that´s puts me off at least!
Hi Since33AD--I don't understand what you mean by your comment on Luke 20: 34-35. Are you saying that married people don't go to heaven?? Please clarify. Thankyou
actually there are also other bible passages refering to the present time... but it's very hard for people to understand untill after the events have passed.
Mainly because of the mainstream media... because most of what is deemed important by the mainstream media, isn't actually important one bit... so people tend to take the wrong events as important, and so they are not able to correctly understand the prophecies either.
@Supenmanu You said it... "only AFTER they have happened".... tell me now, that a disease will kill 3,6 million people in the city of X in year 20xx. When it happens exactly like you described I'll believe you. If you tell me after a natural disaster (or anything which could be written in the for of a prophecy) that "the bible told us a great event would take place in 2010" I'll just laugh
@juuonse: Yes, that's exactly what i meant. Even if the prophesied event where to already begin, people wouldn't realize it and wouldn't give it any importance precisely cause they didn't believe in prophesies to begin with. If anybody said that a certain prophesy refers to such and such, people wouldn't believe him even if it's true cause there where already so many people making false claims and hyping it up. That's why people only realize what it was referring to after the event has passed.
