  • Groovy fros. Looks like the Hair Bear Bunch or something.

  • What can you say about a band with Mark Mendoza and Ross the boss it it? The answer is nothing bad.

  • Andy musta come straight from a BasketBall Match to GBGB's

  • OMG Awesome, Classic lineup! Awesome Band, Go Girl Crazy is a Desert Island LP

  • Love it. Listen to Handsome Dick Manitoba on Sirius' Underground Garage.

  • One of rock and roll's most underappriciated bands...these guys are intense! GO HANDSOME DICK!

  • what a fuckin group what a fuckin song! punk didn't get much better than this.

  • Saw them in Bangor, Maine in the summer of 1977. They opened for Starz and the headliners, Uriah Heep. The Dictators ruled that night! Loud, raw and HEAVY! Ross The Boss was cranked way up and dominated the sound which I thought was great. Manitoba was lewd, crude and rude as always. "The Next Big Thing" was heavy as fuck! I'm glad I got to see them in their heyday. Great memories.

  • this is an iggy's song

  • This is the way you play that fucking song.

  • uy dios ....me rompieron la cabeza¡¡¡¡¡¡¡longlivedictactors

  • my favorite song was "faster louder"

  • Just watched the movie "Summer of Sam" last night. Made me think of this.

I heard CBGB's got closed down a few years back. I've never even been to New York but it seem a shame, the place was famous worldwide and represented a whole era of rock music.

Oh, and a young Ross the Boss there too, a keeper of the rock faith. Great stuff ..

  • CBGBs got moved to las vegas..piece by piece

  • First band I ever saw as they were the warm up act to the Stranglers.... Top Rank, Southampton 31st October 1977.

I was 15 got drunk missed the train home, wow what a night, Handsome Dick being crude to the English and the Hells Angel bouncers. Awesome followed up by the Stranglers and the best ever bass player.. I'm right

great to find this clip, Ta.

  • honestly how are these guys so overloooked?

so fuckin good. i heard they are awesome live.

  • im agree with you. Great band and they still making great shows. Manitoba is a beast on the stage, so powerfull, fantastic frontman.

they are as great as mc5 or stooges, Dont you think so?

    Two tub man !!!

  • i would easily go to a show of theirs, though i didnt think they were up to playing any shows recently.

two tub man is one of the best songs to come out of the 70's punk scene next to richard hells blank generation and of course search and destroy by the stooges

  • yeah i would totally go see em. though i dont think they are playing too much as of recently?

they are easily one of the best bands to come out of the 70's punk scene. and Two Tub Man is one of the best songs to arise from that scene along with Blank Generation by the Voidoids and of course Search and Destroy by the stooges

  • Check out the bass player at 1:16 tearin' it up

  • will be downloadin "Go GirlCrazy" after watching this...lol

  • Great Band... I wish "Sleeping with the TV on" was on youtube, anyone? Its such a good track.

  • the bass player went on to play in Twisted Sister ...Right?

  • Yes... he's Mark "The Animal" Mendoza.

  • And Ross "the boss" went to Manowar. Seminal band.

    I love Twisted Sister too.

  • Great shit, better than Iggy.

  • Greatest rock band ever, period.

  • Handsome Dick Manitoba is the man!

  • I FUCKIN' LOVE NY bands of the 70's!!!!!!!

  • this video kicks so much ass.

  • I dont understand why, but i cant stop listening to this band.

  • Ahh , the 70's tube socks, cutoff denim hot pants, tanktops & jewfros. Who cares , The Dictators could rock in cardigans & flatops.

  • I haven't seen a mismatching video-to-sound track this far off since the Monkees, but the Dictators still rock.

  • i love this song and band

    kickass video
