Now women are equal to men. 98% of Tibet was owned by the monasteries and the ruling elite. China made land reforms to give most of the land back to the peasants and common people. There are more monasteries in Tibet now than before. Literacy and life expectancy is up. The Tibetan population is increasing. Come to Tibet!
