Wow! I can't believe it! So much power! So much destruction! Poor Lystrosaurus. But, hey! They're some of the animals that survived the mass extinction. They were the most abundant single species in history.

Lol, I'm a huge fan of British show Primeval and this creature was featured in the first episode of Primeval. I'm very disappointed to find out they overly exaggerated the size of the gorgonopsian!

I dunno. I think that the gorgonopsids usually ate quite a bit off of their prey than the show assumes, no matter whether they were more like proto-mammals or like other reptiles.

no but it makes its point, Gorgonopsids probebly could´t eat all of a carcass (same with sabertooth cats) ,one of the reasons why they all died..
