• id give anything for time traveling

• i wish more young people my age listened to classics like this!

• 4:03 Snowy looks like Don Jamieson from 'That Metal Show'

• My dad went to this concert:)

Lucky bastard!

• Why the photos???

• Yes everyone was at the olympic stadium show, everyone saw the spitting incident.Fact is nobody saw the spitting incident because it happened so fast and peoples attention at that moment were drawn to the lighting climax at the end of pigs three different ones.Somebody who says they saw it are a wannabe.

• ten ten ten ten ten -10 10 10 10

• omg can i have that photo of snowy at 03:59 ?

• Yes, the Animals is the best album of Floyds, bigger then the Dark side of the moon.

• @ronackostolomac I agree...my favorite Floyd Album.

• @ronackostolomac YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

• I would love to see the record companies & the band put out some live stuff from the Animals Tour.... it would be outstanding but they won't....

• Such an incredible tour. The other night I met a guy who was at the Montreal show. He saw the spitting incident and the whole bit. The fact that I will only ever know this tour through grainy 8mm is unbearable.

• Dogs is the shit!

• Richard Wright <3

• man i want to see a show like that :(

• Is there an entire footage/recording of the whole concert?? I so wanna see it!!! '77 tour was epic!! :)

• Pink Floyd's best LP

• At :56 Roger looks like Jackson Browne

• The fadeout solo in "wish" here is Snowy White.

• No doubt about that... This guys were amazing!!! I can't find anything like them...

The Gilmour guitar seems to me an wind instrument, something heavenly... They were so melodic... great job, guys.

• Pink Floyd, Live in Oakland 1977 3-disc 2CD/DVD set, Pink Floyd, The Wall Live at Earl's Court 1980 DVD available at Tommygun Video, please see youtube channel for link, video/audio clips, more info

• How I wish I could see Animals Live.

• Thanks for this rare video.

Greetings from Greece.

• this video is no mess, it is pure gold of footage, the only visual documents of the legendary animals tour!!

• FLOYD´S FEELING IS THERE AND NEVER RECEDES...

• I love PF, but this video ia a mass...

• because roger knows how to play acoustic, and they had a second guitarist named snowy white

• Fucking goosebumps man. Thanks for sharing this!

• question why do I see footage of roger playing guitar on this tour and why did he play guitar instead of bass?

• @ThisISHappanin because roger plays the guitar acoustic and bass =D

• @ThisISHappanin whenever you hear acoustic guitar its usually him, when i saw him in tacoma he played acoustic for mother

• @ThisISHappanin that was their extra guitarist, snowy white :D

• @ThisISHappanin Roger played electric rhythm guitar on SHEEP and PIGS(3diff.) as well as acoustic guitar on PIGS ON THE WING 1&2 on the 77 tour. When Rog wasn't playing bass Snowy White did.

• dosent quite snyc up bu great footage

• I was born too young for Pink Floyd, (born in 72), but I wish there was 1 pro-shot show from the 77 or 75 tour, (I have all the bootlegs from these tours)

I think this was the only mistake of the post DSOTM floyd, (there is the wall pro-shot, but nothing else)

• what song is at 3:00? its great

• @dopeboys It's called Welcome to the Machine. From Wish You Were Here, 1975

• Comment removed

• Animals is my all time favourite Pink Floyd album

• 12 people are daltonians...

• Best album ever !

• Pink Floyd, Live in Oakland 3-disc 2CD/DVD set available, check our channel for link to site, and more details

• first tour i saw them was animals. haven't missed a tour since. that includes post waters and waters solo tours. sorry to say i've never seen gilmour solo, but some might say that's what the post waters tours were!

• i find it cool that throughout their whole post barrett carreer there is not one document of their performances, except some from the wall i guess i have seen

• @MoveOverCasanova there is some stuff up til 73(pompeii, PBS fillmore West, and etc.) but nothing but 8mm stuff aftr that except for the 80/81 Wall tour

• I saw this concert in 1977 at Freedom Hall in Louisville, KY USA.

The show was in quad and I was trippin on Acid. It was awesome.

I remember the PIG floating in the hall and some other inflated objects. Not sure what they were. I also remember the video that played on the big screen. I would love to see that again. If anyone has a link to that, I would be grateful.

• @jimphelps123 Your recall of the way the show wnt down is great and matches my recall of the show i saw at MSG in NYC. the quad sound system was trippy with music shooting all over the arena and the pig floating over the crowd was ominous and fun. all time great show/tour

• Wonderful. Thanks for sharing tpatgod2007 :-)))

• my teacher went to this concert!!

• @supermeng305 ; By footh? Thanks for sharing.

• If there was a good he would have made me been born in the 60s so I could see this tour.

• It's unbelievable that there is so little footage of this tour. It was 1977, not '37.

I saw the Soldier Field show. Doors opened at 8:00am,...beautiful sunny day....all day. Great music through the great sound system all day. The pig noises through the speakers started about 9:00p No opening act. Floyd came on about 9:30, as soon as it got dark. They did Animals...took a 20 minute break, came back and did Wish You Were Here, then did Money as an encore.

Best show I ever saw.

• I was born the day before this concert. Kind of cool...

• The world would be a better place if there was more Pre-Wall live footage.

• @kingofsheeba agreed

• This was the Wish you were here tour. I was there, center stage, about 25 feet from the stage with 10 of my best friends. The tickets has the burning men on them. They played all of Wish you were here, took a break and played all of Animals. Then they came back and played Money! What a show!!!! Place went nuts. Was more than 20 minutes before anyone stopped yelling and screaming.

• @buck013

How could they play all of Animals during the Wish You Were Here tour when Animals wasn't even made yet? I think you mean it was the Animals tour and they played all of Wish you Were Here. I'm not doubting you saw the show, but if it was in 1977 it was the Animals tour.

• @Equinas I read they wrote most of the Animals material earlier, hadn't named the tunes yet, but played them on the earlier tour, as early as '74. So "Dogs" existed as "You've Got to be Crazy," etc. way back when. So it's teleologically sound.

• Was the Wish you were her tour. I was there, such a GREAT show!!!!

• Yes I was there, unforgettable

• It is one of my favorite Pink Floyd albums, it is a masterpiece.

• Nothing short of AWESOME

• Animals is one of my favorite all-time albums. Waters summed up the human race into 3 catagories very well, plus the music shows them at their peak. their music was so varied and unpreditable over the years, many are only now discovering just how much material a band that never should have survived the 60's there is.

• my fav album :DD

• david gilmour<3

• Yea it explains how the planet runs way better than most albums. FLoyd werent overly negative, they were just enough

• animals is one underated album..in fact everything theyve done is fuckin amazing man

• @kennytrip I'm with ya there....I love the "Animals" album...

• @kennytrip can't disagree. The album is a masterpiece. The later efforts are awesome, but really....this was the last real "Pink Floyd" album that was not purely an extension of Rodger Waters ego. Sheep and Pigs are are songs that make statements beyond the ridiculous R&R clique of the time/

• @kennytrip Animals is a fab album..I dont get why anyone cant see (err hear!!!) that :-P

• @kennytrip In my opinion it's their best album

• @kennytrip understatement much?

• @kennytrip

One of my favourite albums period!

• I'm glad I found this video because my mom saw them on this tour and whenever I ask her about it all she remebers is that they had a big blow up pig. I wish I could go back in time and see them.

• David Gilmour < 3

• @NikolozPF David Gilmour >3

• Amazing! Have you got a full video version of this concert?

• does anyone else find it ironic how the lyrics to dogs say "who was trained not to spit on the fan" and roger waters spat on a fan

• Yes I also find it ironic.

• @thedoorsforever256 "who was trained not to spit IN the fan"

mildly coincidental but not ironic by any stretch.

• lol ya sorry i saw that after i posted my comment

• didn't mean to come off as a dick.. your lol made me smile.

• lol thanks. it didn't sound mean i just hate youtube fighting

• @thedoorsforever256

that´s what i wrote some days ago - funny is that the song was made BEFORE the spitting incident.

Seems like waters was only waiting for a chance to make his little dream come true )) but considering

those berserk mobs at some gigs i understand him completely

• lol he planned it from the begining, XD

• @thedoorsforever256

well, at least one cannot deny that he had something like that on his mind, hm? just think of similar experiences from yourself before you lol

• lol, if he planned that then i'm gonna have to say roger waters is unbeatable, he might have been thinking of it when he wrote it but he prolly never knew he'd try it

• @thedoorsforever256

ok ok, you just do not wanna get it

just forget about it

• every album he wrote was putting more and more pressure on him at live gigs so when he wrote animals he was really under a lot of pressure, from the band and the audiences so ya i'll admit it was on his mind, revenge on the audience, after all he was really smart

• where the fuck can i buy this concert at?

• Thanks for the edit montage, Are these performances available in their full length?

• david's vocals on the live 1977 versions of "dogs" are crap. I would wish they could at least have done this song as an encore at one of the wall concerts in 80/81.

• Black strat had a Rosewood neck on this tour.

• gilmour looks buff.

• great medley, nicely done!

• Pink Floyd are the best

• The Aniamls tour started in February in 1977 in Germany in Dourtmund and was finished in July in Montreal !

• The Animals Tour a/k/a Pink Floyd In The Flesh 1977 started in January of 1977 and toured through Europe until late March. Then the band did a three week tour of the western part of the US (by then David Gilmour got rid of the beard and moustache he had during the European leg). The band played the eastern half of the US throughout June and July of 1977 finishing in Montreal. Shame they didn't professionally record the tour though there are rumors of shows the band recorded.

• i have an album live of the tour Pink Floyd Animals recoded in California on 10-05-1977 do you have this album ? And also i have the album "ANIMALS" released on 23th January in 1977 and was recoded in the studio in London from August until November in 1976 ! Do you have this album ?

• You have a bootleg of the famous Oakland show which IMHO is a bit overrated. Pink Floyd din't properly record any shows on the Animals tour. You have a great sounding bootleg. My favorite of the first US leg was Fort Worth. Animals came out in January of 1977 in the UK and February of 1977 here in the US.

• whos singing on dogs? doesnt sound like any of them

• David and Roger.

• @wilkyx david gilmour is singing dogs

• I agree, it's a shame there's no official document (audio/video) of the 77 tour. They did a film of the Wall shows in Holland but weren't happy with the quality. I'm sure they've got a vault of great stuff somehere

• I think you are thinking of one of The Wall's London shows which was filmed, as that tour never went to the Netherlands.

(The Wall tour only went to NY, London, LA, and Dortmund Germany)

• is it just me or is waters the strangest looking human you have ever seen , he looks like he was stretched out but never recoiled

he is most definitly a tube worm. but great in any shape or form he is

• Ever seen Michael Jackson? Oooops, he was ET, who for so many years managed to fool us, mingling successfully... Ugly or not, Roger was PF leader after Syd's departure, not pretty boy, Dave...

• It's just you...

• i would liked to be there, but I wasn't born yet :(

• SHEEEEP ♥

• Concert kicked ass!

great all time band-for any occasion

• I saw this show in MSG in 77. I don't remember who but that morning they asked me if I wanted to go they did not want the tickets, $22.50 section 100. I'll never forget it!

• which consert was it win rogers spit in a guys face cause he was requesting songs

• last gig of the tour, I believe. Montreal.

• Yep Montreal, Olimpic Staduim...

• ... wonder what syd was doing this whole time?

• By his own account, watching television and eating.

• saw them in milwaukee wisconsin on this tour, June 77.

• My parents were there also, I have to hear my mom brag all the time that she seen Floyd and I never got to......

• Was fortunate to be at an age that I got to hear and see them at all their outdoor concerts here in the states. To see them live was to see a creative band WAY ahead of their time and one that will NEVER be repeated. PF is a genre of its own. I thank all band members for all the great memories I have of them. To have people that were not even born when they started and have so much respect for their music, speaks volumes. To you young ones with such great taste. Just "wish you'd been there"

• @yanan45 shit dude your're lucky, you don't see any great bands like this these days

• Excellent man! I love it when rare stuff like this just shows up... especially with a band like Pink Floyd... This is what great music was all about back than...

• Pink Floyd wrote "Dogs".

• Pink Floyd play "Dogs".

• Shut the fuck up you Goddamn troll. Roger Waters and David Gilmour wrote "Dogs" imbecile, Pink Floyd performed it!

• Leave me alone you big meanie!

• I'm no meanie, I'm not colored in blue nor do I take no for an answer. You troll every Pink Floyd video looking for attention which you obviously didn't get when you were a child you stupid fuck. REPEAT AFTER ME JACKASS "David Gilmour and Roger Waters wrote "Dogs" but Pink Floyd performed it". Now shut the fuck up and troll on a Goddamn Kanye or Britney video.

• Brokenchair your name should be broken record you stupid fuck. Pink Floyd PERFORMED "Dogs", Roger Waters wrote the lyrics and David Gilmour wrote the music. Why don't you get the fuck out of here and post at a Britney Spears video asshole!

• How many videos are you going to say that jackass. Brokenchair's name should be BROKENRECORD because you go on Pink Floyd videos and spam with that stupid phrase. No wonder people think you are one stupid asshole! David Gilmour and Roger Waters WROTE "Dogs" and Pink Floyd PERFORMED and RECORDED IT! Get that through your fucking skull jackoff. Now go watch your Beyonce and Paris Hilton videos you dumbass piece of SHIT!

• Brokenchair, go listen to Beyonce you scumbag. You do the "Dogs" thing because your parents didn't give you attention when you were a child you stupid mother fucker. I don't start trouble, I finish things for incompetent shitheads like YOU! David Gilmour wrote the music for Dogs and Roger Waters wrote the lyrics for the millionth time you dumbass. Shut the Hell up and go post on some Britney Spears and Beyonce videos and get the FUCK OUT OF HERE!

• ur a loser

• No shit Sherlock.

• Comment removed

• wow you actually said something else in a comment, good accomplishment for moving the fuck on.

• El animals es mi disco favorito de Pink Floyd.

• Si - a mi tambien

• my god, just a few seconds of this, and soon u get back to those unforgettable years, that energy and mistery. i love many bans, but dunno why Pink are so special.

adios infeliz

• FALTO WISH YOU WERE HERE

en la gira animals

tocaban entero y seguido wish you were here(el disco)

igual en estos conciertos el gordo gilmour no canta bien

• i am a pinkfloyd from the age of 20 i am now 60 years still love the music of this group they are a different rock group altogether i love their music

• hey man, if you are fan since 20, and now you are 60 you gave me hope of life. ajajajaj. I mean: si sos fan de floyd desde los 20 y seguis siendolo a los 60, me das una esperanza de vida. jajaj

• they are just damn good live, i love pigs...

• that footage is amazing with quality that good surely whoever the

cameraman(men)? were must have had the initiative to film the whole concert because we need some footage of the greatest band of all time playing 2 of the greatest albums of all time

• David Gilmour IS God

• YEAH THOSE ARE THE ONES ON HERE. (sorry about caps!) they still arent that good. but thanks!

• lol

• i agree 100%. but these are still awesome to watch. you have to appreciate the authentic feel these old recordings give to the songs. I think it's special. But i would love to have a DVD for each tour they did, that would be sick.

• omg i would so pay ridiculous amounts of money to have a decent quality dvd of the wall. seriuosly the original footage of that is supossed to be good too..(although it did take almost 20 years to release the live album of that...and a dvd would probably require much more production)

• Try the website, Stellar Products. They have a ton of rare concert footage. They have a few versions of the wall live, i think the earls court version is the best.

• Apparently Waters is releasing a DVD for the 30th anniversary.

• cani borrow it? :)

• man it must of been something to attend one of the concerts during the 77 animals tour

I envy anyone that attended any of these concerts or any concert where the real floyd performed

I mean this band was truly one of a kind and there will never be anything like 'em ever again!

• this footage looks sexy

• I like to be there :( !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

• David Gilmour and Roger Waters singin it.

• who is singing Welcome to the Machine? I don't think it's Roger- Is it Roy Harper?

• its dave

• Roy Harper sang on Have a Cigar.

• Roy Harper sung Have a Cigar, David Gilmour sung Welcome to the Machine.

• Here is what I have in my collection, so you have a basic idea what to look for: (and no, mine are not for sale, sorry.) The Embryo (Live Recordings) '68/'69; San Diego '71?; Pompeii, Italy '72; Wembley, London '74; Heart of the Sun (SF Fillmore West - Darkness over Frisco)'70; Omay Yad (Chicago) '71; Echoes (Berlin, Germany - Mauerspechte) '71; Black Holes in the Sky '74; Oakland Coliseum, CA '77 Ummagumma Live (no date)
• shut up

• Well, do you have any suggestions on where to find these?

• post em on youtube

• There used to be a store in Manhattan in Greenwich Village, that specialized in bootlegs. I am not sure, and don't quote me on it, but the name Revolver Records pops into my mind. I was fortunate to make high quality copies (on Maxell XLII-S) of several bootlegs of Pink Floyd's live concerts from a friends collection back in the early 1990's...

• Anyone know where i can find a bootleg of this album that sounds this good in audio form?

• I would also like to know, too, as well.
