ok i got 94 units ( mostly elves and men) and just got the army of the dead and rangers of middle earth and an ent and treebeard and my friend got sauron and a pretty big goblin and urak army with a ballista and 2 cave trolls and a troll thats a mix of isenguard and mordor troll with 3 berserkes.

@pokeball151 purely for looks its best to stick with one army,,, but an army has a small amount of armys within itself,,, such as mordor as: Citith Ungul, The Black Gate, Dol Guldur, Minas Morgul and Barad-Dur,,,,, so i collect mordor as a whole,,, i dont mix like mordor and easterlings even though the rules say you can,,,, but more armies you have the more books you need

I think that's why GW have taken this step, albeit too slowly. Let's face it, Warhammer and 40K are only sustained by GW themselves, whereas LOTR game was mainly marketed through inspiration of the films. But the whole point was that there was a war of the ring going on, and not just what we saw in the films. Just about everywhere in Middle Earth was a battlefield, so the new rules will hopefully stimulate a sustainable game, not limiting the imagination to what folks saw in the films.

It's easy to collect a Gonder army if you spray the figures silver, paint the few areas of cloth and areas of skin with a basic colour. Then paint or dip the whole figure with the Quickshade by Warlord Games (check out their site). 10 minutes per figure, tops.

I remember tech priest mo! your the one who tried to make a warhammer 40k tank out of card board and it didn't look like any of the actual tanks from 40k and therefore couldn't be used in a game! You also used a pencil as the cannon or main gun, I don't know what you called it because in the vid. you said it was the thing. Also, using the pencil was a really bad idea because it was so thin! Nice painting here though. Just stick to painting, not trying to make your own stuff from scratch.
