It's not scripted. What they do is they tell the people if they can co operate and have them sign contracts or w/e you call them, than whatever happens happens.

and they do pay the people

-the man falls to the ground, hurt.

-bruno and his friend move away.....

and the man jumps up, unhurt, cuts the balloons free, collects the props, and follows after bruno and friend.

what can we tell from this? the man is clearly an actor, as you can see he was ACTING.

= at least some of bruno is SCRIPTED.
