The Last months of the Attitude era...in about 4 months time, the invasion story line would begin, thus ending the attitude era. Nothing like the attitude era. The Undertaker, The Big Show, Kane, Stone Cold, Triple H, Mankind, The Rock, Kurt Angle, Chris Jericho, Chris Beniot, Eddie Guerrero, Edge & Christian, Hardyz, Dudley Boyz, Acotlytes, Dark Ministry, DX, Corporation, Corperate Ministry, Rock & Sock, Shamrock, Steve Blackman, etc attitude era mid carders could be main eventers in todays WWE

Invasion could have been so much more. It was botched so badly I almost cry at the memories. It was just rushed and the defections became ever more ridiculous. Could have been the greatest storyline in WWE history.

Why? because the attitude era was made to compete for ratings agaisnt WCW. When Vince bought the rights for WCW, that right there killed the attitude era because Vince no longer needed to make wonderful story lines for ratings. He had no competition. He can put any storyline together and still get ratings cuz his competitors are out of business

The attitude era was WWE's defense against it's competition, WCW and ECW, now thanks to partnerships with GLAAD and many other companies, and the fact that their only competition in America is TNA which they aren't afraid of, means there will NOT be another attitude era, at least not until there's real competition.

I don't get why people don't realize that it is impossible to bring back an era. Sure I do consider it wrestling's absolute peak, but people don't recognize that you have to change with the times. It's not true that John Cena 'killed' the Attitude Era seeing as it ended with the start of the invasion. Sure Cena is a bit overrated but if you think about it, so was The Rock.
