I support Arizona in the respect that they are doing something about the problem. However, how they are going about carrying it out is a bit racist. There has to be some other reason for the contact, then the officer can ask about ID and determine if someone is here illegally. When I get stopped, I must produce a Drivers' License, proof of insurance, and registration. Why are illegals exempt from this requirement?

This little bitch lies like a true repubichristian. The law does not allow someone to be pulled over for being illegal. There has to be some other reason for the contact, then the officer can ask about ID and determine if someone is here illegally. When I get stopped, I must produce a Drivers' License, proof of insurance, and registration. Why are illegals exempt from this requirement?

The law is already such in every state that if a cop has stopped you for another legitimate reason a police officer has the right to identify you. Clearly you don't get it. The problem with this law is, what is suspicion of being an illegal immigrant? Being latino? Speaking spanish? Driving a pickup truck :)? The first two are racial profiling.

If you don't know the language or it sounds broken I.E. an accent. It tells that your origins must not have been here. As the primary language of N.A. is English it's the same as reasonable suspicion when cops come in your house. It's not profiling it's common sense, these are just wannabe activists claiming they know. A fishing boat, no hull docked in Newport Beach, By-standers saw what appeared to be about 100, jumping out running in all directions. After Inspecting the boat.
