I lived for many years in New Orleans and I was a frequent traveler on Delta and on Northwest. I was hired by NW in 1982 and immediately after I had accepted a position at NW Delta contacted me to advise that I was hired. I worked for 23 years at NW and I wish everyone employed by both airlines all of the best in the future. I do like the Delta livery, especially the delta on the tail. I also like the psychedelic paint scheme on the aircraft tail.

At first it was Ford Motors shutting down plants in Flint, Michigan so they can pay less to the workers in Mexico and other countries South of the Border. now its the airline corporations screwing us over the same way. Its sad but true. Globalization and big business have taken its toll on us and the world
