i usually HATE! mapex kits but that one is one of my favourite drum kits ever, one of my friends has one. For a cheap small kit it is a brilliant sounding kit, its so easy to set up,and is easy to play on. He has tuned it so well and put brilliant drumheads on them, it sounds so good.

Whoooooaaaaaa - dude, that's almost the exact same drum sound as "when the levee breaks" by Zeppelin...

As for the groove, i loved the set up - nice and easy 2/4 with a few variations and some cool work around the kit towards the end! Nothing jawdropping - but jawdropping isn't always key, right? I bet you could stank up the place if you got warmed up...my kinda drummer!

We used the camera mic, so the sound is very boomy and lacks clarity. A D112 on the kick would have made a big difference.
