  • @iAmCadoAngelus Cliff Bleszinski from Epic Games, (lead creator of Gears of War), wrote up an article you should read. He gives some very good advice for someone looking to get into the gaming business. Link below:

  • I start in two weeks!

  • they best way to make games is not buy working in a company is by working in a garage with a group of friends then built your empire from there remember it's not about what game sales is about the that best idea that count's. that's how many great games come to be the best.

  • all students looks like stupid ppl seriously.

  • @MaxDorval And you sound like a genius yourself.

It's really amazing RCC is offering these classes. I don't really have the time to take them but damn it looks like a hell of a lot of fun!! I sure wish these classes existed back when I was going to RCC. RCC had some good computer courses back then, but nothing like what they have now. This honestly looks much better than a lot of those expensive private schools!

  • This course is just like the one I'm doing at the moment except I'm in Ireland. Looks good :D

  • does anybody know if this is available in the riverside campus??

  • Hmm I grew up in Elsinore & was looking for a reason to move back to Riverside country. I think I might have found it...

  • I'd be genuinely interested in checking this place out if I didn't live in Australia. It looks really interesting.

  • i have a question

i emailed the school at the given adress almost a week ago and have yet to receve a reply. is there any email the takes me to eather the deen or addministrator? if so plese tell me.

  • Alright, i got a question.

I have had 2 years of training from my high school. Is the CIS-38A course that is recommended on your RCC Norco's site going to be mainly based on the basics of MAX? Or will it start you out assuming you have prior knowledge of the program?

Thanks, looking forward to seeing your reply.

  • The CIS-38A course assumes no prior experience with 3D Studio Max. The class covers 3D modeling including tri/quad mesh creation, spline creation and manipulation, surface detailing including shading and texturing, and importing a wire mesh into a game engine or simulation environment. The instructor has current game industry experience and brings real world examples and experience to class. He will challenge students to extend their skills according to their abilities.

  • CIS-38A is a prerequisite for the follow-on classes, CIS-38B: Sim Gaming/Animation and CIS-38C Sim Gaming/ Rendering and Dynamics.

  • Cool vid. Im trying to get started but how do i come about doing this.
