To clarify a point you made in the video, this game is set aboard the Ishimura before the events of dead space (hence why their digging up the artifact). That is why everyone has a different accent, as in many sci-fi series dead space has a fleet financed and crewed by people from all over the world there is no real nationalism left except on maybe a planetary basis. It's really cool seeing how it all begins because in dead space you get there and bam necromorphs are everywhere

I Loved youre review but one thing.... you say the camara shakes a lot, you can turn it off in the options, and as for dificulty....it was pretty easy for me on my own....

2 things, 1: Dead Space Extraction is a prequel to Dead Space 1 and 2. And 2: Both of those games are on the PC as well as the PS3 and 360.

I gave the game a 7.5 out of 10. It's pretty good, but I've seen better. The House of the Dead: Overkill was better. And that plant boss in the sewers REALLY annoyed me. It was REALLY obscure and I had NO IDEA how I was supposed to kill the damn thing.  When they finally flat-out told me, I thought it was actually pretty clever, but they needed to drop more hints.

The reason everyone has a diffrent accent is because the mining ship your on is one of the first international mining ships ever I think they say at one point in dead space it is the oldest (don't quote me on that though). The kicker when all this happens it is it's final tour of duty before decomitioning (or at least thats what I made out of what was said) so OH! and it was only 2 days away from retirement

I hate to say this, as I absolutely adore Dead Space and this game, but there are actually at least 2 other glitches I've encountered. One is similar to the one you encountered, except it's in the second stage. The other is the game randomly freezing up on me. And yeah, it's kind of frustrating that every time that happens you have to completely restart the stage.

I'm not really a fan of on-rails shooters. To me they just don't feel like a full gameplay experience, and are usually better suited for arcades. Granted it is kinda cool to be able to get that experience in your own home. Regardless, this was another great review. Keep up the good work

you should really get a 360. I have a Wii and the 360 an dI'm happy I have the two, as each system has a different variety of games for the most part. I think it would be a great investment if you picked one up. Alot of games that are also on the Wii, in my opinion, are better on the 360.

this game is awesome, i love on rail shooters, and this is one of the best on the wii. i think this is best for single player only coz, as frequenczy said, the crosshair reticle or pointer thingy is too damn big, and the second player will just block your view all the time, making the game way less enjoyable with 2 players. not like house of the dead overkill which is better with a friend.
