The smaller quests are ridiculous, often done during a main mission. The story, however, is interesting enough to keep a closer look on the codex..but nothing more. The game world is simply DEAD with mobs standing around and waiting for action. No buildings to enter, except those I have to to complete the story. The map shows many locations you`re free travelling to...but there`s some kind of "indirect order" in doing so, cause for many of them you`re simply too weak - getting killedimmediately
So finally the game is linear like hell. It wouldn`t be right to call Dragon Age a BAD game, but it`s definitely not worth its money or the advance praise before the release.
Just one final note: The character creation is GREAT, making the player able to create each single detail in the character face himself.
@00Division there is only one game where you can really change any single detail in your characters face, and that is Perfect World. No character creation is more outstanding....
but I need to agree with you. I loved the great character creation, even if it was the last thing I saw from Dragon Age before I uninstalled it and sold my Collectors Edition.....

It is a big black swastika spinning in the middle of the screen at every "loading" you can't miss it, but even if you do! (stupidity can be amazing) follow the blood trails that are coming out of it. This is not a square by definition but if you like to call it so, don't bother me man.

basically just buy fire resist potions and have the spirit magic group heal, and the fights good as yours not to mention this boss can be petrified and paralyzed rather easily
Actually, the easiest way is to have one melee, two ranged and a healer, as Flemith will automatically attack the NPC closest to her, you just throw your melee guy up there and use Force Field on him.
The fights in this game are not difficult... provided you actually know the strategies for defeating enemies.
@tiseenderwelke abd blizzard made all their money from wow... which they did none of the work as they bought it all from another company who went bankrupt while making a similar MMO... they just made the map and races... all the engine and coding was already done... look at the quality of their earlier games in comparision

Feel kinda bad for killing 'poor old flemeth' as she states in game.especially since she offered a way out of killing her,but she is an easy fight for those who know how...
None of the boss fights in this game are hard for anyone that knows what "Kite" means..... even with a rogue main, kiting boss's in this game is all it takes sadly. And dragons as well, while you can't really kite flemeth you can still avoid the melee attacks and keep hate on the tank. Flemeth is one of the easiest IMO.
Then download one of the DOZENS of balancing mods and you will be fine again, or just play on nightmare! Seriously now, even the description of Nightmares says: WHEN HARD IS TOO EASY FOR YOU!
For you fools saying a "cheat" or something of the sort is enabled, take another look. I can't say what difficulty it is on...but if you watch around 1:05 , you will notice the transition between scenes. In which minutes could have been edited out of the fight. I believe its legit. I know some of you will say "Even in the transition the electricity just cuts out", but who are we to say that the mage just didn't cast it again?
What are you talking about? 2 mins? i beat flemeth on normal, i was a mage 12 lvl together with alistar,sten and the dog in less than 2 mins, just spam spells and when mana depletes refil it with potions and so on while continuously freezing her...
Someone at the gamefaqs forum mentioned having a similar built, and he soloed Flemeth on HARD. That tells you something about what arcane warriors can do, no ? (^_ ^ );:

I found that the easiest way to kill the both the dragons and the archdemon is to move one melee character right under the dragon.
There is an inner and outer circle and if that character moves into the inner circle, all they do is kick you or smash you with their tail.
Its nice to have Wynne with you in those fights or at least a few potions.

It is a big black swastika spinning in the middle of the screen at every "loading" you can't miss it, but even if you do! (stupidity can be amazing) follow the blood trails that are coming out of it. This is not a square by definition but if you like to call it so, don't bother me man.

basically just buy fire resist potions and have the spirit magic group heal, and the fights good as yours not to mention this boss can be petrified and paralyzed rather easily

Actually, the easiest way is to have one melee, two ranged and a healer, as Flemith will automatically attack the NPC closest to her, you just throw your melee guy up there and use Force Field on him.
The fights in this game are not difficult... provided you actually know the strategies for defeating enemies.

WoW was supposed to be World of Warhammer till Game Workshop pulled out on it, thinkign it was gonna flop.

None of the boss fights in this game are hard for anyone that knows what "Kite" means..... even with a rogue main, kiting boss's in this game is all it takes sadly. And dragons as well, while you can't really kite flemeth you can still avoid the melee attacks and keep hate on the tank. Flemeth is one of the easiest IMO.

For you fools saying a "cheat" or something of the sort is enabled, take another look. I can't say what difficulty it is on...but if you watch around 1:05 , you will notice the transition between scenes. In which minutes could have been edited out of the fight. I believe its legit. I know some of you will say "Even in the transition the electricity just cuts out", but who are we to say that the mage just didn't cast it again?

What are you talking about? 2 mins? i beat flemeth on normal, i was a mage 12 lvl together with alistar,sten and the dog in less than 2 mins, just spam spells and when mana depletes refil it with potions and so on while continuously freezing her...

Well, you may say that I'm in god mode. But there's no cheat, mind you.
I merely maximized the potential of what the game can offer me (or my alter ego).
That's... one reason.
The other reason is that Alista is a pain to heal and I don't need a tank. Nor I need much healing...
I strongly recommend trying it for yourself!!!

I think you might have rushed it a bit...
Hint: do more quests and you will come across a badass armor set. Put it on to yourself or have it for your tank, it will make a difference!
Hint 2: search gamefaqs for more info.
