Hmm, I am currently using this and noticed that I now am breaking out...wondered what it was, hmmm and it leaves my hair really hard..but their condish is awesome, gives my hair great slip!!! Wow, thanks for sharing!
I dont think any beauty product is completely organic. There always must be atleast a few man-made products in it. xD
But atleast Burts Bees says, like, 80% organic or whatever percent.
I just bought the conditioner today because it didnt have many harsh chemicals for hair, and its not tested on animals (or did they lie about that too?).
Renpure has a misleading label, it means that of the organic ingredients, they are 100% organic, but it also has some ingredients that are NOT organic, and can definitely cause sensitivity reactions among other things. Two big ones on the list are PEG-100 stearate and Fragrance (Parfum). I just emailed the company to tell them that I think it is dishonest of them to proclaim on the label that they're organic, when that's not completely true. Throw if out if you still have it!
@2blackqueens1 naw...it's a shampoo that basically acts as a clarifying shampoo which is the opposite of what a co-wash would do for you..co-wash is done only with conditioner...hope this helps!
wow thanks for this review bc i keep seeing this and thought i might try it...uh...not worth it for a rash! dang!
sometimes when i clarify with baking soda i get a few little red bumps on my shoulders/chest but not on my face and it goes away by the time i get dressed
wow really? because i was going to try the baking soda thing...i am still on the hunt for a good, reasonably priced, easy to get shampoo that i really like...let me know if u find one
dont let me scare you away from bs bc its great!!! but i also use a liquid black soap by Dr Bonners but i think any liquid type or even bar black soap is prob the same and i use the bs bc some of my products contain silicones so eventually have to clarify them out :)
i heard that Dr. Bronners soaps are harsh...you haven't had the same experience? also do you find that bs bc clarifies better than a clarifying shampoo?
as far as dr bonners (actually i have dr oganics sorry) i think it depends on which one u use. after my first bottle of black soap i tried the almond and uh, NO! - tho my skin liked it. so i think its just the black soap thats gentle - at least what ive found so far
