  • This game was amazing, and so psycho!

  • A classic. Still what does suda smoke?

love tht cellshading optik, for our days like Borderlands^^

  • all times fave.. great game, really sick!!

  • This is a game worthy of a sequel or two.

  • @Countgreenhorn True dat. A sequel isn't out of the question either. I'm pretty sure Suda51 has said he would be interested in making a sequel to Killer7.

  • super cool!!!!

  • just bought it again for 9€ xD

  • iguazuru

  • Good G*d I loved this game. It made your skin crawl. Cinematic, abstract, dark, and I thought totally groundbreaking. Extraordinary.

  • that game looks sweet! i've probably been deprived.. up til now.

  • I went back and played Killer 7 after finishing Shadows of the Damned, and as much as I love shadows I wish it had a little more guts to be as edgy as Killer 7 is.

  • @viewtifuljoe99 It's the only reason I keep my PS2 around, that and as a backup DVD player.

  • One of the greatest games I have ever played

  • i remember playing this game, the controls sucked and it was repetitive and boring, no ammount of weird visuals and cooky charectors really got me into it, if the gameplay mechanics suck, the game sucks, full stop.

  • didn't finish this game but it made an everlasting impression on me

  • this game makes me want to take acid and lick my screen.

  • This is the story- a guy was smoking marijuana with his friends and got high talking about Japanese action movies

  • RANDOM LOL

  • lol I remember a man with a epic hand

  • is there a possibility to play it on PC`?

  • This game essentially redefines 'fucked up video games'.

  • Only one phrase rang through my mind when completing this game: fuck your perception of reality.

  • anybody knows the name of the track that starts at 2:28?

  • @RobDiaz97 The name is "White Sugar" by Masafumi Takada

  • @happygametimefunshow I THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!

  • wtf how cut

  • Press 9 for SWEET FUCKING NOSTALGIA.

  • wowwwww....I think?!? But wowwwww!!! [Derp]

  • Suda51 you genius.

  • ...was I the only one who had no fucking idea what was going on that entire time? I felt really lost after watching that.

  • @Didact04 I've nearly completed the game and I still have no idea what's going on

  • I think I'll dust off my PS2 just to play this beauty.

  • suda51 is batshit fucking insane, and thats how we like it!

  • I thought I'd understand more about the game if I watched a trailer... Nope.

  • ooookay iam confused

  • Taratino is a hack. Miike all the way.

  • Anyone who says video games can't be high art has never played killer 7

  • @bobjangle11

i've played games more artistically sensible than killer 7, and i have to disagree. games can not be high art. however, it is my opinion that high art is usually boring as fuck, and that folk art and anti-art are much more intriguing and progressive. felipe jesus consalvos outtrumps van gogh much in the same way that most games would outtrump anything that tried to appease to bullshit fascist "art" standards.

  • @FreedomGotAnAK 1) Art does not need to be boring or unintriguing, I love Caravaggio, for example. And I personaly think that renassence poetry is always better than folk poetry.

    2) If cinema is art, then games are as well. Games tell stories with sequencial art using animation, the same way movies do using filmed scenes (when they are not as animated as the games), but games have a different perspective on how to entratain the "expectator". 3) Sorry for bad English, Brazilian folk here.

  • @FreedomGotAnAK 4) Sorry for sending you more than one message, You Tube gives me too little characters to maintain this kind of conversantion, but...Killer 7 depicts reality and the brutality human nature's dark side veeeeeeery well, so it is way more mature than romantic chickenshit from the 1800's.

  • Absolutely epic game, full of political cheap shots, gore, style, fucked up characters...what more could you ask for!

  • @reniisgod I agree, an old diamond or a game. No dev's seem to want to try anything different these days, shame.

  • I never heard of this game before Jack Thompson. Thanks for the involuntary promotion, Jack.

  • @Ktownbrah

Quentin Tarantino? Nah, he alone wouldn't manage it. You'd need more people for that. It should be a collaboration between Quentin Tarantino, Alejandro Jodorovsky, David Lynch, Takashi Miike and Kitamura. Hell, the game oozes references to all of them anyways.

  • What a very good game, unique in many ways and twisted as hell, just the way I like my games

  • Someone needs to mail a copy of the game to Mr. Tarantino, ASAP!

  • WTF is going on!?? lol

  • so thats what its like to loose your mind. watching that video gave me a good insight to what it would be like to permanently be tripping on psilocybin.

  • no more hero

  • this game needs be on the wii...

  • 9 people are in a tight spot, an ultra tight spot

  • This game is a masterpiece and so underrated.

There are only a few games in game history which are imo a masterpiece:

    Killer 7

    Shenmue

    FF7

But nowadays youth think games like GTA,Halo and CoD are masterpieces...

  • @LiangHuBBB you sure like your games Japanese made... No offence, I like the stuff Suda Goichi, Kaz Kaneko and some other japanese game devs do, but why does everyone have to keep on bashing Halo and CoD?! They have their own tendencies to be great (except maybe CoD, never liked CoD that much) too.

  • @LiangHuBBB man you are so right, sadly

  • @LiangHuBBB You're a stupid weeaboo faggot.

  • @slayerfan666666 Go fuck yourself, you retarded subhuman piece of shit.

  • @LiangHuBBB God I hate ff7...

  • @LiangHuBBB Ulk! It really pains me when someone says this. No, COD and Halo are NOT masterpeices (though they are very perfected formula style games), seeing as you like the Japanese route what about Catherine? Demon / Dark souls or El Shaddai (for Art direction).

Not to mention the 100's of fantastic indie games out there, There's always going to be mainstream stuff, but there will always be little gems too - you just have to look harder.

  • @Shrubbinator I couldn't agree more with you!

  • @LiangHuBBB blah blah blah old games are better blah blah blah

plus killer 7 was only released 2005 little child

  • this game is crazy cool!!

  • When i get old, i wanna be Harmon

  • I was looking for some reference pictures for the Heaven Smile, as I wanted to draw a Killer7 themed picture, but I completely forgot that after 10 seconds into the video. Again. Damn.

  • I'll never feel the ame coming away from any other game after I have completed it like I did with Killer 7.

  • Imagine if any of the Smiths made it in MvC3. It would be pretty cool.

  • Well I loved No More Heroes and Flower Sun Rain, So I think it's prime time for me to get this...

  • anyone who says games can't be high art never played killer 7

  • this is the most WHAT THE FUCK???!!! game i've ever seen in my life.......and i'm 14,xD

  • I have this on my GameCube, but never got to finish it ;(

This needs a remake or sequel

  • @Biankito i think this game story has went too far to go for a sequel, also most of the staff has left Capcom. WIthout the fantasy team (Shinji Mikami + Suda 51) a shitty sequel will mean nothing. A HD remake will be welcome on PS3 again.

  • If LSD was in the form of a video game, it would be Killer 7

  • @ZappaFan101 LSD, as a game, already exists...

  • Picked this game up from Gamestop for $5. Man, Im so glad I picked it up. To say this game is 'different' is an understatment.

  • Suda 51 is a such a genius bastard.

Never played this trippy looking game, but I LOVED No More Heroes 1 and 2.

  • What da' hell did i just finish watching?!?

  • frylock = garcian smith

  • did i just trip balls?

  • hi i this game is old i was following my motto if jack thompson hates it its awsome .......i take it bakc its lame !!!!!!

  • i will never understand this game :S

  • this game is a complete mindfuck on the ps2 brain

  • Literally anything Shinji Mikami and his team shit out is pure fucking quality ! And now he is part of Platinum Games and made two of my favourite games this generation Bayonetta and Vanquish

  • 'Bought this brand new near its release date and I have never regretted it. Yes, the game play is definitely quite simple, but the true draw here is the absolutely insane story alongside the thick atmosphere.

I suggest some of the fans of this game check out Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne on PS2. It is an RPG, but the graphical style, insanity and thick, twisted atmosphere just seems somewhat like K7.

  • It's like John Woo on Acid...

  • I love this game

  • I hear the guy who directed this, Suda51, is actually pretty unintelligent and the game is meaningless gobbledegook

People have written essays trying to figure out what this game means! So, that's pretty funny!

(Suda51 has watched every David Lynch film 50 times, though)

  • @jamesharvey you heard wrong , just because someone think differently then you doesn't mean he's stupid .

  • @razi3l03 This is from a pal who worked at their Grasshopper's offices in Tokyo. Apparently Suda's also kind of racist and homophobic in addition to being retarded. He sounds like a funny dude!

  • @jamesharvey XD that's weird , but racism and homophobia is something the japanese don't seem to understand . but you gotta love his wacky ideas ....

  • Top 5 games to come out of last decade.

  • i played no more heroes 1 and 2 and finished them but this one looks more fun

  • no more heros=connection to killer 7?

  • @TheThedawnishere1 same creator

  • @yamato531 i already knew that im saying by games

  • @TheThedawnishere1 Same company made the two games

But knowing Suda 51, there are some connections between the two

  • WHAT THE FUCK JUST HAPPENED?!?!

  • More games should go for experimentation, instead of just Brown&Bloom

  • this is the citizen kane of videogames a game this great doesnt need a sequel

  • @TheSnoozeFox You're right, but it DOES need a remake.

  • dude what is going on..

and can i haz commando pro?

  • quentin tarantino should make a movie based on killer7

  • @Ktownbrah EVen better: Takashii Miike should make a movie based on Killer 7.

  • @Ktownbrah eww eww eww no!

  • What a class game...totally goes against what video games stand for...this is not run of the mill..this is Suda 51!! This game sparked my interest in games again, hugely different and abstract....full of political cheap shots, mixed in with pure violence and gore. Pure style. "can we help you sir?" "Yeah im here to kill Mr. Fukushima" calm as you like...epic

  • @reniisgod video games stand for run of the mill? what?

  • @BlackandBlueMage Its an expression...meaning that this particular game breaks the rules...its not seen as being a "normal" gaming experience like all the shit thats out there today

  • coolest game ever

  • i never played the game but watched this...?

  • This game freaked me out as a kid lol

  • Haha I've never played this game and I'm fuckn confused!!!!

  • why is there no killer 7 sequel

    i do miss this game

  • @GLoBeTree1 Story ended with all the characters killed off except Garcia and Norman...D:

  • @GLoBeTree1 A game this awesome and twisted deserves no sequel. Although if u've played the game and seen the ending and Shanghai, the 'sequel' can begin there

  • this game is magnificent

  • The first trailer I saw from Killer7.....and it was worth it.

  • Ha! Imagine if you haven't played this game and then you watch this trailer, you'd be all like "..............?"

  • I really loved this game.

And I still love it, it was such a underrated game.

But still one of the best games I bought for the console.

    Masterpiece.

I know al lot of critics gave it a negative review, but let's be honest.

This game is more than a game, it's art.

And like all art, you have to feel it.

  • @deathborn2000

Even from a stirct 'game' pov, i think the controls (once you got accustomed to them), and the weird gameplay mix of quick draw combat and puzzles, worked brilliantly anyway tbh

but yes - in terms of the really interesting story themes, the really cool art style, and just as an overall experience, killer 7 is just one of the best things ever

  • I hate the precision aiming parts, but everything else is ok

  • anyone tried if this game works with a light gun?

  • you see I was very hungry before I played this game then after playing a bit I wasn't anymore.

  • THE MAN WHO

  • Avantgarde!!!

    So müssen Spiele aussehen!

Killer7 ist vielleicht das beste Game, dass ich jemals gespielt habe.

  • WHAT THE F?!

  • Also, don't click a video that has "Killer 7" in the title... it makes no sense if you don't like gore. I bet you smoke and drink, those things have killed more than video games ever will. If you don't, I respect that you simply don't like violence and can't see it as viable artistry. In my case I think letting anger out in a game is much better than real life, and games do it better than any other medium. We all feel the urge to hit things, no matter how you hide them. It can be beautiful.

  • What were they smoking?

  • what a nice view there!!!

  • A true masterpiece of gaming that proves even video games can be art.

  • i just got mind fucked...... AND I LIKED IT

  • freaks the shit outta me

  • My most favorite game of all time. Not even Mother 3 tops it.

  • awesome

  • Ditto.

  • this videogame is grateeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • If that was a living guy with his head blown in half, with the other piece STILL ATTACHED, I am gonna go ahead and hate this game for the rest of my life, because, as much as you guys all love this game, there is a point where liking something this creepy actually starts to affect your mind.

  • You might as well never pick up another Suda51/Grasshopper/Mikami game ever again, that and grow up a bit.

  • It`s immature to dislike games known to be sick and twisted and even called so by it`s fans. I need to be a real weenie to dislike a game that was made to seem psychotic and bizarre by every definition. I think YOU need to grow up, if every person who dislikes what you like is immature in your eyes.

  • @TheToast7 It's immature to ignore any depth or credence within a story merely because some of the actions in it make you feel "icky". It's like ignoring the commentary and criticism on pop-culture and society's obsession with media in Natural Born Killer, just because people get shot in the face. This game is meant too be a ride and just because it's a little too rough for you just speaks about your constitution and not the plot. The main criticism of something being "too violent" isn't valid.

  • @Sh0nin Look. I like violent games. I play Resident Evil 4 and Fallout 3 on a regular basis. It's not the gore that disgusts me. It's the rampant disregard for the sanctity of reality. This game is too far removed from every other thing in my life for me to enjoy it. And I don't ignore any depth in this story, I ignore the game entirely, cause I hate it. if it really bugs you so much that a random person doesn't like the same games you like, then you have no right to say what is or isn't mature.

  • @TheToast7

"This game is too far removed from every other thing in my life for me to enjoy it"

As opposed to rampaging zombies and post-apocalyptic mutants?

I'm not even mildly bothered, I'm just acknowledging that the "reasons" you've mentioned for hating this game aren't justified and therefore childish.

  • @Sh0nin Ok, so because my reasons don't satisfy you, they are childish? It's one thing to run around killing zombies and chewing bubblegum, it's another thing to have pleasant teatime with Cthulu. There's scary, then there's just plain weird. It just isn't my type of game, and calling my reasons childish just shows your own immaturity, via unwillingness to accept other ways of thinking.

  • @TheToast7 so you want to murder people in a context that corresponds to reality? I wouldn't accept that way of thinking

  • @Nmbrz Who said I wanted to murder someone? Video games that have murder and actual murder are totally different things. Although, yes to the second half of your sentence. I do want to play games at least somewhat grounded in reality. Jeez, what is up with all you killer7 fans though? I mean, it's a totally obscure game that has a pretty small fanbase, and you're still not used to people not liking it? Even fans of Mario can stomach someone not liking him, and almost everyone likes Mario.

  • @TheToast7 it just seems violent video games serve mostly as an outlet for real-world problems (societal or otherwise), and I'm curious how "real" the violence has to be in order for people to be entertained.. never played it myself though, just curious about the fanbase

  • @Nmbrz Well, I don't know about the rest of the internet, but I for one don't use video games to rid myself of frustration, but rather just to have a fun time. The more gory games I don't play BECAUSE they are gory, but rather because I enjoy the gameplay so much, which is one of the reasons I hate killer7, because it's gory without an excuse. Also, I never understood why people insist that gory games can only be played by school-shooters. I play them for fun, not to imagine murdering.

  • @TheToast7 Uhh I dunno about that Mario thing. Have you ever MET a real nintendo fanboy? They are ridiculous.

I can see why you wouldn't like it. Suda 51's games aren't for everyone. I don't think anyone is really attacking you because you don't like it, but you came out of nowhere and said "there is a point where liking something this creepy actually starts to affect your mind." It's judgmental, and a pretty close-minded thing for a person who enjoys video games to say.

  • @philosiraptor Yeah, you're right, I shouldn't have said "your" but "my" because it did effect my mind.

  • Killer 7 does not correspond to reality, also it isn't murder if you are attacked first, that is called self defense. If you want real murder, play Modern Warfare, that corresponds to reality. Considering you control 7 different personalities, from the mind of one man, and have regular encounters with gimps, a gay ghost called Travis and upgrade with blood, it's clearly a game for the artistic mind that isn't afraid to dabble on the dark side rather than real life murder.

  • @TheToast7 toast play this game then you will see -_-

  • @TheToast7 then your not a man . only hard core gamer play this game . and i know at you house you have games that m rated games so dill whit it -_-

  • @haseosango Okay, so, a year ago I discovered a very bizarre game called killer7. It creeped me out, and so I argued with some people, mostly pointlessly, to try and feel better. Well, it's a year later, and I've watched an LP of the game and even wound up liking certain aspects of it. I made a mistake when I thought it was objectively wrong to like a game, no matter how weird. We all make mistakes at some point.

Which is why I'm not going to correct you on how stupid the phrase "real man" is.

  • @TheToast7 ok iv bin to overboard on this if you like it fine but if not ok and this game is bizarre but not close to postal2 look it up.

  • @haseosango I've heard about that game. It does look really weird, although to be honest, I'm not sure if urinating on corpses is actually more weird than killer7.

  • Just got the game in the mail today, and it's quite awesome as I've seen. But darn is it slightly terrifying when played in person.... ;)

  • Now that they are remaking NMH for PS3 and 360 they should do this as well. :|

  • this is like an AWESOME mushroom trip

  • jaja thats rigth :D

  • This game's been bugging the piss out of me - its plot is just so...its amazing, its outstanding conceptually really, but it feels like the closure just needed...MORE. A port, a sequel, goddamn, a MOVIE for crying out loud! I want closure! I know the goal was for an "open ended game" but come on, Killer 7 was awesome enough for a sequel.

  • this is like bad mushoom trip

  • An epic cosmic trip through time and space..
