you know i was not a big fan of steve. i not saying i did not like the man but i just was not a fan. the one thing i will always remember him for though is the fact he put every cent he earned back into saving and protecting our native wildlife. he didnt drive a fancy car or live in a massive house. he was a great aussie and will be remembered for many years to come.

I remember watching this on Animal Planet. Not ashamed to admit that I nearly lost it during this part. He was the reason that I went into the field of Biology, and sparked my interest in Reptiles even more. I have always loved Sharks, and the Big Cats, but he made me love Reptiles as well. I miss you Steve, we all do.
I miss seeing Steve on TV. It's partly due to him that I married an Australian girl. I've learned so much about the Australian culture and the wonderful people. I was 16 when he died and I blamed myself. I was so upset I cried for days and looked for my special Steve Irwin Croc Hunter book (which I lost again). I think about Steve all the time and cry. I'm still heartbroken over what happened. It shouldn't have happened to a good and wonderful man like him.

Steve Irwin was my idol up until his death on September 4, 2006 and I miss him very much. He will always be in our hearts forever so for all of the people who miss Steve Irwin we say may you live on forever in heaven and we will never forget the impact you had on this planet.
