that isnt detroit-its dearborn or some other suburb of detroit-noone would play a song in a parking lot in detroit-hell the deftones had all theyre shit stolen when they attempted to open for ozzy at joe louis
@benmarvin57 Yes, I know, I was there, it's Garden City, but most people outside of the Detroit area have no idea where Garden City is, so saying Detroit gives them a general idea. See how that works?
I've been a Prong fan since "Beg to Differ". I had no idea until about 93 that it was actually their 3rd album! Tommy has never been able to have a solid line-up, although Ted Parsons had been the most consistent drummer. I honestly think that has been one of the reasons why Prong has never really broken through popularity wise. They've always been kind of the Rush of metal. 2 albums ahead of everyone else, and thus banished to relatively permanent obscurity.
my buddy chilled with prong back in 2000 and they were all cool as fuck tommy hung out with them and they were drinking and tommy was in aa at the time and was still cool as fuck about it he hung out all night behing club 5 in jacksonville FL
The papers always made a big deal about it like he is a sell out or should be ashamed but I look at him as a succesful businessman; besides, the average skinhead couldn't tell an Arab from a Jew, let alone an Armenian.
Wasn't a white power rally at all. Do you see any skinheads?
I was there by the way. Yeah Rock Of Ages is "notorious" for selling skinhead music but thats free speech for you and the owner was/is Ar me nian - go figure.
Not cool.. I am from Detroit, white, like this music and never heard of a white power rally there. There is alot of poor peolpe there but that does not make them trash.
This is a reworking of the song "Doomsayer" by Argyle park. A side project of the former circle of dust which Tommy victor did vocals on a song called suffering.
the new cd is awsome to the max ..prong are my gods....and all im just saying is tommy victor aint no "media whore sellout" like that one dumbass said
Tommy is not fat - living on the road will do that to you. I met him backstage in Cleveland when after Cleansing came out. I was looking to make a carrer out of music. Tommy told me, "Boy, you better be in shape - I haven't been home more than 2 months in the last 5 years." I'm not married with children and living in the suburbs. Thank you for saving me a LOT of grief. Tommy is a coolest guy and a straight-shooter all the way.
I love Prong, but their vids are crap. The best way to experience them is in concert. I saw them 12 yrs ago when they opened for White Zombie, and they were way better than Zombie. That's when I really started digging Prong.
Wow, a VHS record :) I haven't seen a VHS player/recorder since ages :)
Nice catch!

Long live Prong! RA is Probably the most incredibly overlooked album ever, should have made Prong huge but they were ahead of their time.

Guitar is Mike Riggs and bass is Rob Nicholson who both went on to play with Rob Zombie after this short stint with Prong
