I used resin to close my mom's cut on her finger. She cut it to the bone and we were snowed in, so I didn't have much choice. She didn't even have a scar left after it healed.

The cool thing about fresh resin is it's sterile.

They were VERY sterile, used a percision cut, and for the forhead the skin is a bit thicker, it would NEED a deeper cut, and head wounds of any kind bleed a lot. They all had gloves on, used sterile tissue and the super glue thing... What do you u think was used back in the day... even still today. They use surgical glue to seal cuts..its surgical glue but not much difference.. GOOD job guys!! Nice Cyst removal ^^

crazy glue originated as a battle field treatment to adhere skin together to quickly heal wounds. so they used it for it's intended use.

There's a product out called Liquid Stitch, which works similarly to Liquid Band-Aid; hwr, if the spray was Dermaplast, the liqui-Stitch won't hold b/c Dermaplast has oils in it along w/lido & antiseptic. I've used both & I prefer either steri-strips after cleaning wound w/peroxide & alcohol or hand-stitching the area myself. Hand-stitching isn't hard if you've spent any time around MD docs or Animal Vets.

Actually I commend you guys for doing such a great job. Glue can be shoved into the skin at anytime to heal a cut. Your skin will just grow and exfoliate it out. I hope he is feeling better.

@Warden1964 I mentioned this to another post but it is unlikely they used Crazy Glue. It was more likely they were using Liquid Stitch. It works like Liquid Band-Aid only the Liquid Band-aid can't be used on an open wound whereas Liquid Stich can depending on how deep & wide the wound is. I prefer doing my own stitches.
