The reason y I asked was b/c I went onto the grundig website and tried to check out your 30" lcd monitor (specs & looks) but it appeared that they only have Flat panel TVs listed. For the past year I've drooling about other people's 30" lcd *monitor* and recently I went out and got myself a 28" inch. All-in-all I'm happy with it :> But, 2560x1600 just *Pwns* 1920x1200. With a 2560x1600, a person doesn't need to skimp on the number of windows opened.

lol i have the 30 inch Dell screen and i can tell you im not using it becouse it is built very cheap! and the LCD panles are the same! the only new LCD worth looking at isn't dell! its the new samsung 30 inch with 6ms response time! I also have the new 1080p 42 inch Sharp Aquos and i am happy to ise the Mac screen for my computing.

hey maxshine I'm actually in the middle of planning to get a new display. Been getting alot of different suggestions as to whether go with 1080p Tv flat screen but was warned about the poor quality with text or a high resolution lcd. A mac chd is definitely not an option for me, simply im not ready to spend that money.

The Sharp Aquos has 4ms and is 1920x1080, its a good screen but i wouldnt use it for computing in general.Bigger panels need you to be sitting away from them and becouse the text size is so small its hard to read. I would say from all the screens i own i would recommend the 24 Inch Dell.
