I have a sense of humor, but you need a sense of sanctity. Some things are sacred, you don't mock the Lord. When You stand before him in Judgement he's not gonna laugh and giggle at you mocking him. I never said anything to be an absolute except that the preaching of truth about something we will never know to be is insane. Parts were rewritten? No they weren't, they were translated into many languages but the content is still the same. We have evidence for this such as the dead sea scrolls. The canon of scriptures is still accurate to the writings thousands of years ago. Do you have anything to back up your statement with? The bible talks about the world being a sphere and hanging on nothing. Scientists didn't find this out until hundreds of years ago. Where as the bible tells of this thousands of years earlier.
