  • I used to play any of the compositions found on the EP in my early pirate FM broadcasting days... This stand the test of time and is has 'fresh' as any LCD Soundsystem or the likes in my book.

  • I started enjoying their 'abstract funky beats' right when they started creating them. Still have most of their vinyl. Sure they are underrrated, but perhaps that's why they stayed close to their genius. Saw them once at Topofthepops(?) and that really made me shiver. As it is, many great songs to enjoy ; thanks Shriekback, you're one of the very best.

  • @mysticliar Carl Marsh is a truly decent soul, as is Mr. Andrews. I've known my share of egomaniacs and Barry doesn't fit in that category.

  • the new album is not the old true shriekback...musicans change.....:-( all will be change...but is cool to found a hand full of true fans...greetings to all!i can just only one person what have shriekback completly!its check up with one musican ....and i have an org.signature of shriekback for a tattoowork on me.yes im totally branded in brain, and i love it!!!

  • @Tinhuviel

with Carl Marsh to keep the riens on that mad egomaniac Andrews???? Hope so! Blessed is the orignal line up with the crazy looking guy with the mulitt and beating the hell out of that hand drum.

  • insane.

  • Saw them in Minneapolis at First Avenue around 1985. Best show to this day. Completely lost in the heat, sweat, and surge of the music. Fantastic!

  • GREAT EP-

one of the best bands of the 80s. american media neglected them,as usual. 'Care' is a fabulous album.

we saw them play live in milwaukee 1986-ish at the Underground, and met Andy Gill (guitarist, originally of Gang of 4), who walked around after the show

  • such a great song. only in the eights could music as such be produced... love it!!! thanks for posting...
