How did you to to step into the boats, did you rent the boat yourself or you asked the people in a boat if you could join them? Where do they start from?

A friend of mine has a boat, so every year we invade his boat to have fun during this day LOL

Most boats you are see are privatly owned. Many people living in the centre (or outside the centre of course) own a boat just for occasians like this. During queensday there a no regular canal cruises or special tourist boats i think (i`m almost certain). BUT, we dutchies are for the most nice people, so you can always ask if you may jump on a boat from a bridge... :)

Amsterdam wordt steeds kutter met koninginnedag... paar jaar terug was het nog echt leuk, maar er komen nu steeds meer mensen van buitenaf: daardoor te druk en teveel agressieve dronken mensen. De gezelligheid is er wel een beetje vanaf. Hopen dat het dit jaar wel weer een beetje leuk is... :-) we zullen zien.
