Great Video Man !!! I got this same system from SamsClubs for $145.00 because someone returned it 2 months ago and it was missing one of the power adapters for one of the 2 cameras,,,,i got a good deal but really i thought it would have better picture and the fps is slow for the price of a new outfit its only like 15 fps.....i have one outside on my car and people walking or cars going by is like robotic because of the late responce from wireless cam to video screen......Sincerely Eyan
Would like to see more about computer connection. Do you know if it will only "record" off of one camera at a time? I tried to set it up so that both computers would record when they sensed motion; however, only one of them seems to record. Your presentation was excellent for those who needed more information on the basic use of the system. Thanks!
Thanks for the review. Awaiting your response to last question regarding TV and remote access. I've been thinking about getting a video surveillance system for some time and this helps me narrow down the field. WiFi interference would be a deal breaker for me though.
The receiver is a DVR itself. It has a 500GB capacity to the best of my knowledge. Also, you can record with your PC so those are 2 very good options.
1HandTechReviews: If operates on same frequency mode of operation is irrelevant, it'll have potential to cause interference. Result on WiFi speed will be similar to if signal was weaker. It may be possible to make some improvement to WiFi by changing the operating channel. However, I would guess that, being video, it will occupy a relatively high bandwidth so any improvement will be limited.
I think what I might try is using reflectors to beam the signal from the cameras to the receiver.

How can it be wireless if the camera needs a wire to plug in for power??
Nobody ever says about that??
bonjourtag 1 month ago
@bonjourtag Because it doesnt require a direct connection to the receiver.

It does have wifi interference, but as long as you have fast internet you should not notice unless you are trying to stream high quality videos.

Can you watch what's going on in your house remotely using the internet? I travel a lot.

@marthanyc You can't with this system , but I know there are more expensive systems that will. I'm not sure how much cost though.

@mechrocktech Will this system allow you to record with a DVR or with some other device?

@marthanyc look for IP cameras, they are brand new for around $90 in ebay. easy to connect even to iphone ipad PC or mac.

@1HandTechReviews its most likely uses ad-hoc wifi, so it shouldnt interfere with anything.
