Funny how people are discussing how to pronounce latin correctly. Fact is, nobody knows anymore. It's dead for centuries, the church latin is somewhat different to the original. So everybody kinda can pronounce it the way they like. I learned like 2-3 different ways in school, depending on the teacher.

Good song, but I have to point out that C is pronounced as a K in latin, so they should sing "Amor Vinkit Omnia"

Well, have you ever heard someone say "Kaesar" instead of "Caesar"? What about Cicero?

I guess there are exceptions. While I learnd latin I came across people who pronounced everything als a "c", others did it with "k".

@Highriser14 Depends if it's church latin or classical latin. For hymns and benedictions and stuff, gradually catholic scholars prounounced C's as being soft. But hard C's are generally felt to be more accurate of how it was pronounced yayges ago.

Caesar WAS pronounced "Kaesar" (and Cicero "Kikero") back in the day, but yeah now all the Latin C's are now S-sounds. The reason we know this is that the ancient Greeks spelled Caesar as Kæsar with a kappa (k-sound). I know it's kind of stupid complaining about wrong pronounciation in a song, when the whole world is pronouncing latin C's as S's. Just making conversation :P
