Johnny Mathis did not sing "An Affair to Remember" in the movie, Vic Damone did.
I am a big Mathis fan, went to school with him, but Damone version is much better.
Damone sounds like he is singing music for
a movie soundtrack, Mathis is just making a LP/CD track. cut

Like many so-called musical "artists" today, I've heard the name but am not familiar with the music.
Johnny represents pure quality and will go down in time remembered like Shakespeare. His music will live on forever.
