  • Awesome and amazing song and movies, forever it will last .

  • Johnny Mathis is wonderful! An Affair to Remember is my life!

  • Música más preciosa, la voz melodiosa de Johnny Mathis, recuerdos de mi juventud, inolvidable

  • Real Amazing! You could imagine that great movie by the way he sang it as much as Nat King Cole! Try watching A Certain Smile the movie and then listen again to his recorded rendition. Real ethereal, when he coons that portion "... and in that hush of night..." you'll imagine the May-December love scene in the garden at night. Johnny Mathis is a real classic! Thanks.

  • a love affair of 50 years............now ended by time but the love and music, lives on in my heart...for there will only be one love............and that was you my dear Lana.

  • Thank you, cybernautev, for sharing one of my favorite songs of all time....and my VERY FAVORITE SINGER OF ALL TIME!

  • Nothing like Timeless music like his!!! His voice is AMAZING!!!

  • THIS is real singing, real music, real artist and real arrangement. This is the Johnny Mathis I've loved for 50 years. Thank you for sharing this. This is one of the very few Johnny recordings that I don't have. Thank you all who writes comments: I'm learning so much by this, it's a real Johnny Mathis school-lesson for me.

  • Una pelicula inolvidable por las actuaciones de Cary Grant y Deborah Kerr, por la escena final donde dudo que alguien no se haya estremecido al verla y por esta cancion.

  • I loved this Movie. Debra Kerr and Cary Grant. I still watch it today.

Please bring back the good Movies

  • @balen3 So much was SO good...I know it wasn't for many but for others there was an innocence and a hope and beauty to life in this country. I am just sad that the hope is out of reach.

  • OMG... the best surprise for me... I love this song but most of all, it was my father and mother's theme song...

  • Grew up listening to Johnny,my mothers absolute favourite. Brings back memories of sunday mornings in my house in Ireland.

    Cheers for this.

  • Does anyone send me MP3 please?

  • My mum adores this man, always has.....she told me about the film with the same title as this song.....i cried like a baby at the end....lovely film, lovely song, beautifully sung as always by Johnny.

  • Johnny Mathis did not sing "An Affair to Remember" in the movie, Vic Damone did.

I am a big Mathis fan, went to school with him, but Damone version is much better.

Damone sounds like he is singing music for

a movie soundtrack, Mathis is just making a LP/CD track. cut

Wanna here an excellent Mathis song from a movie, listen to 'Wild Is The Wind"

  • Thank you for your reply, i did know that johnny didn't sing the one featured in the movie, i do however love his voice, i like the song you suggested too, in fact there isn't many i dislike from johnny, these songs soothe the soul...

  • one of the best singers ever and a genuinely nice person too.

  • SH*T. I have all Johnny Mathis CD's but don't have this! Which CD should I look for?!!! it is my parents' theme song.

  • linda musica parabens obrigado por ter disponibilizado aqui.

  • it makes me cry even theres nothing to cry about....im just carried away........

  • so beautiful and smooth.....johnny can sing any love song so beautifully!!

  • 1st time I've heard Johnny's version of this classic--thank so much for posting

  • real lovely song nice post

  • This man was my first love of music. I was 12 and babysat to buy every record he ever recorded. I love him.

  • Wanted to hear this song by Johnny again for a long time ... Beautiful memories ... Thank you so much for posting.

  • Immortal song. Very lovely.

  • (2 of 2)Trivia Note: The 1993 film Sleepless In Seattle starring Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan also featured the song An Affair To Remember which was played in various scenes throughout the movie. One of the cable TV stations in some part of the U.S. played the movie and people were calling in wanting to know the name of the song, it's indeed beautiful and ageless.

  • (1 of 2)Great song here and our Johnny really does it justice with his interpretation and what a history this song has. The melody was written by Harry Warren and lyrics by Leo McCarey and Harold Adamson. The song was sung by Vic Damone during the credits at the end of the1957 movie also titled An Affair To Remember starring Cary Grant and Deborah Kerr.

  • BEAUTIFUL.... Thanks for posting

  • Doesn't it just make you sick that his music gets so little play and Jay-Z is making millions.Drugs and an out of control sub-culture play a big part in this phenomenom.

  • Like many so-called musical "artists" today, I've heard the name but am not familiar with the music.

Johnny represents pure quality and will go down in time remembered like Shakespeare. His music will live on forever.

  • yes its a beauty ,so cool ,felt so good ,that a real one ,good music.....

  • @cybernautev

AMEN, AMEN! To hell with these weirdo Satanist media and mind-controlled robots of today, this was real music back in the day!

  • @frankiehearts YES and YES!! This is REAL music. This wonderful thing that Johnny preforms here will live forever. I know that I do my very best to help here in my corner of the world. I constantly play his wonderful music to everybody who crosses my doorstep. And constantly telling all about him to the younger ones in my family. Johnny Mathis is in my life a saint. He makes my life richer just beeing there.

  • one of my favorites msthis'song. thanks alot.

  • This is from the Love is Everything.LP Murcury Out of print.........Love this Album. Noe that you posted this............I have to go and pull it out and play the album! There is a place in New York where you can get all the LPs never opened for about $25

  • Probably bootlegged copies. $25 is a lot for an album, otherwise I'd be interested.

  • What I like about the music of Johnny Mathis is the romance and just arrangements that comes I love the strings

  • Yes, the arrangements are great. A lot of imagination is put into the song. He also works with the best people.
