  • We have to test on pakistan's Al-Khalid,that would be a better target!!!!!!!!!!1

  • NAG means Cobra in Hindu ye?

  • @TuAFFalcon in "Hindi" yes

  • Hindi? Do they say Hindu in english? Because i heard "Hindu" so many times.

  • @TuAFFalcon :

Hinduism is religion of Hindus.(Arabic called people who lived beyond Indus river..Hindus) Hindi is the language

  • @jjamwal ahh roger thanks.

  • @TuAFFalcon Hindu is name of religion who belongs to Sanatan Dharma [Oldest Indian religion] , Muslim rular called Indian "Hindu" coz Indian lived that time across the Sindhu River.

  • BEAST...thats the only word I have. This is one of the most advance missile system (Fire & Forget) india had developed.

  • Ah, this is not the Nag missile.

  • fake

  • WORST CAMERAWORK lol

  • javelin is sucker

  • the missile goes up to strike top-down, the armour is thinnest on a tank on the top.

if you look at the system called javelin which is a u.s. missile it does it also.

  • wow it works like a mortar.

  • 0.49 one can see the missile

  • right into your mom's crack hahahahah!!

  • where it should go?

  • ooooohhhhhh.............i dont want to be in that tank when that missile hit

  • why does the missile being shoot hiperbolic?

  • you must mean the steep arc of its flight path? This missile is a top-attack profile, meaning it is meant to strike the thin armor on the top of tank.

  • i see...but is it accurate with that kind of flight path.......

  • of course it is. Imagine the sophistication of avionics that allow fighter jets to perform their maneuvers. Even better, think of the hardware that guides surface to air missiles to their targets, despite the latters' twisting, high speed evasive actions. With that in mind, then it is quite possible for a top attack tank missile to be accurate. Your ultimate proof, of course, is the videos showing the direct hits.

  • cool....

so that mean the missile works just like a mortar right.......

  • no, not at all. a mortar is unguided, just a shell shot in the air. The star of the video is a guided missile, just it simply flies an arcing path, not a straight one.

  • ok....got it...thnx

  • @jengkollovers it's called top attack profile. it attacks the tank from the topside where armour is weakest. in this case the target was close to the launcher which is why it went straight up after launching. normally it flies level and then pops up just before the target and hits it from above. there's one video on utube that shows it.

also note no smoke after first 4 seconds which makes it hard to detect by the enemy.

  • MPAT. multi purpose anti tank (i think)

  • oh god its hell for the tanks

  • The "Nag" content of this missle is equivelent to a 30 year marriage to a nagging housewife. That's alot of concentrated power boys!!

  • LMAOOOOO!!! nice analogyyy....LOL>...

  • LOL,you are giving me dreads about married life .cant stop laughing though.LOLZ

  • This missile is just like javillian misslie

  • the question is... how do they calculate the accurate coordinates of the target ? .. or is it based on some sensor or any advanced tech.

I believe in tests, they feed in the coordinates.. .isnt it ?

  • It's image processing. It captures an image from the air, identifies where the tank is and accelerates incredibly fast towards it while zeroing in on the identified tank.

  • they had to show the turret of the tank we want to know what happened to the tank after blest

  • don't you see the turret being ripped apart at 0.49 sec and afterwards !!

  • but video doesn't shows to top view of destroyed turret so that v can see the bang

  • Hindustan Zindabad - The Great republic of India - Mohd. Zafar Faroooqui - Riyadh K.S.A

  • This is interesting/nice, the U.S. military also has a a similar system, almost identical.

  • strange flight path for an anti-tank missile....has the army cleared it for induction yet?

  • yes the army has now cleared it for induction...the missile has been specifically designed to have such a flight path - a 'top attack' missile designed to impact the target from the top where the armour is the thinnest weekest, making it even more lethal. Ideally, the angle of impact should be 90 degrees. This comes quite close to that!

  • I'd like to see it targeting a moving tank. That'd be a realistic scenario - tanks are hardly going to be stationary in wars.

  • it is matter of time when you are going to see that, my source said that it can do the same, may be more software code to be written for Nag... but Nag does not give any warning what so ever and i dont want to be anywhere near the targeted tank.....

Next version will be even more smart with extended range of 7-8 KM

  • yeah ..but im not goin to drive it.. !!!

  • wow!!!is that a desi made missile???

    its superb!!

  • Uniquely it flies really high up compared to other missiles.

  • yeah it goes pretty high for even a top attack antgm. Is it derived out of some SAM.

  • i think that's because cam1 zoomed into it so it seemed to be going up for ever.

  • gr8 !
