But obviously running three times the distance at his pace would take a lot out of him. Just making the point that when one goes slightly outside of their element is a different challenge. I know people run 10+ miles easily but can't do a sub 8 mile to save their life. On a different level but same concept.

At the end of his 200 hes never as out of breath and tired as he was after this. It seemed like he was about to kill himself. He also slowed down massively from 200 - 300.

not that i don't believe it but these times don't make sense to me :P i mean ...300m = 30.97 seconds so that's like 100m in 10.3 seconds ...3 times :P i'm sure you've all done the math too but that is awesome :P
@mamanipuna yes because he ran the straight first, and it wasn't a full 100m but it was 9.07 at 100m mark, the whole 300m adds and count right on the curve
@mamanipuna the starting line for usain is at least 10m before his actual 100m mark. It only says he ran it in 9.07 sec because he probably ran about 85m (:
