  • I'm going to the youth day in 2013! I'm so excited and it is in july

  • isnt there where kids get rape?

  • What month are they hosting this?

I hope it is not during July or August because it will be winter there that time...

  • When the bible talks about the great deceiver they mean the Vatican and Pope. Ireland is filing international crimes against humanity against the Vatican for their cover-up of the torture and raping of children over hundreds of years. If you consider yourself Christian then live what Jesus said and Love all and judge no one, don't listen to a man who believes he is the voice of god, that is so blatantly corrupt.

  • EVERYBODY TO RIO IN 2013 !!! =D

  • MAY JESUS CHRIST CONTINUE TO GUIDE US ALL. AMEN

  • religion is business. think for yourself

  • @jptugagmr religion was intended to be a way of life or a philosophy....but man is the one who made it a business....religion is beautiful but what are we to do because man by nature works for his self-interest and has twisted the purpose of religion? Man is the problem of this world, but we are here to stay so we have no choice but to deal with it.

  • I was there :D :D

  • I don't care if it will be expensive, I'm so going to WYD 2013!!!!

  • There are people posting messages here who are so uninterested in religion that they devote their lives to studying how uninterested they are, watching videos for which they have no interest, and then writing comments about these uninteresting videos.

  • @MrVuittonLouis I'm not anti-catholic, I'm in fact against all equally ridiculous religions such as Scientology, Judaism, Islam and Mormonism. You can pick any flavor of glorified ignorance that you like, I'm against them all.

    Your hatred is showing. WWJD?

  • @MrVuittonLouis Please read my comment after you learn how to read. I haven't said anything negative about brazilians. I actually like them very much, they are not as religious as you think. The religious bigots will go to Rio from other places...

  • God bless the next World Youth Day in Brazil!!

  • @MrVuittonLouis

It is actually the first... Brazil is the largest Catholic nation in the world !

  • i am so happy.... my beloved Brazil will now host this terrific event !

  • @MrVuittonLouis That's nice, but their silly little religion is completely ridiculous and everyone knows it. I don't give a fuck if they're offended.

  • I love Rio because people are so open minded, tolerant and liberal there. It is a pity that it will be full of religious bigots next year.

  • @1marcelo

This is what the media wants to sell to you, but I was born in Brazil and we are in general very conservative and very religious. Thank God, because otherwise we would rather end up like Europe, which is in a verge of a collapse Thanks to Left wing Atheist parties !

  • @Multi0703 Maybe in your small conservative world everybody is religious. I've been many times to Brazil and have many brazilian friends. In fact, I love brazilian people. There are plenty of non-religious people, fortunately.

  • @1marcelo

Sure, you talked to 100 Brazilians and went to big cities: what a "great " way to go Brazil.... Brazilians in general have a love of respect for Christ and Lord... unfortunately you never lived there or really interacted with the society, but even the most non-religious have some knowledge of morality and respect for the Lordship of Christ. Maybe next time when you come to Brazil, try the Cirio of Nazaré, Aparecida, Bom Jesus da Lapa, Corpus Christi, Pirapora and check for yourself

  • @Multi0703 Actually, I used to have a Brazilian boyfriend :-) So my knowledge of Brazil is not as superficial as you think. Thanks for the tourist tips anyway, it sounds like a good plan. If I have some time left I will also worship Pomba Gira, Brazilians also love her.

  • @1marcelo

If you never lived there, then you cannot really say much with a sense of authority.... it is like me saying anything about Germany just from what people may tell me.

    - The truth is: Brazilians are overall very religious and very conservative, and it should stay like that because we are devouted to our own creeds.... Most Brazilians are Catholic or have connection to it and Catholicism is part of our History, society and culture !

    I can't wait for RIO 2013 World Youth Day ! :)

  • @Multi0703 You are absolutely right, most Brazilians are very catholic. The reason for that is the low literacy level, one of the lowest in South America. But that will change when more people go to school and stop believing fairy tales.

  • @1marcelo

Most Bavarians are very Catholic. Bavaria is the richest stadt in Germany and it is the powerhouse of the country when compared to the Atheist East.

    - Also, I dunno if you know this, but Bolvia, Ecuador, Paraguay and Guyana have lower literacy levels than Brazil... maybe you should do your homework before opening up your mouth

"We are Christians and this informs everything we do… We are for diversity but we will not abandon our basic beliefs" ---- Angela Merkel

  • @Multi0703 You must be talking about Bavaria in the times of the Nazi. Young people are not religious anymore. In any case, lack of religion correlates with intelligence so the ones who really produce are the non-religious in Bavaria and in Brazil as well. Go find some twisted statistics that prove the opposite. By the way, Merkel is a scientist and she is not religious, she just belongs to the christian democratic party.

  • @1marcelo

Not true at all lack of religion and spirituality leads to depression, arrogance and internal desperation. Angela Merkel is the daughter of a pastor and she has endless times tried to included in the European Constitution about God and the Christian roots of Europe.

Your hate and pride is killing you and yet, you say it is PROGRESSIVE. See how much progress Atheism has brought to Europe... They are in a verge of a collapse both socially and financially with Atheism. I pray for thee

  • @Multi0703 I don't hate you. I only pity you.

  • @1marcelo

I was actually about the hate that you have for all believers and I can guarantee you that I am the one that pities you for failing into the trap of science, which is solely there as a tool for our own progress and not for enhancing you to feel that you have become God

  • @Multi0703 A trap?

    watch?v=piVnArp9ZE0

  • @1marcelo

what trap.... what on Earth are you talking about... and what did you make me watch those lizards?

  • @1marcelo dear Marcelo, don't call us bigots, saying like that you are being not open minded nor tolerant. if god really had beeen creating us, he would not abandon us, if something went wrong in the begining he came to meet us and made the things goes right again. i make a challenge to you: as we can not tell a food is bad until we prove it, join to us for a while. if you don't find yourself, nor meet spirit satisfaction or feel love's god, so much God loves you go ahead with your idea.

  • @viniciusleo22 Thank you for your kind offer. I honestly appreciate it. I have been raised catholic but all the answers I need I found in science, not in religion. All the love I need I find in the people who surround me. For all I know, god does not exist. I didn't mean to generalize, I know there are open minded religious people but I still think that many people who attend this type of meetings are bigots.

  • Very, very, very good!! People from all over the world will be very welcome in our country!! Come, come you, young, mature and old man and woman, let's together in so many languages celebrate the creator love!

  • Wonderful!
