cool ex-SP switchers. UP 9989 was in the hollister local on tuesday.

I like the UPY 1180-- nice yellow and red colors come out of the "patching", LOL!! Poor old Southern Pacific logo though has seen better days, although I actually kinda like it "old and used" like it looks now!!

Yeah, one of the yard crew guys let me in to see the cab of 1180 and then 9989, but he said no video/pictures cause he didn't want to get in trouble. Oh well, that makes since though.

I guess he was smart to not anyone to allow to take a pic/video inside of the cab. :D

yeah, that's what it was. the crews had just shut the engines down when i got there, so i missed them pulling onto the storage track.
