@v5driver Er läuft da in den Drehzahlbegrenzer. Der kleine V5 muss 2x schalten bis 100, der große kann den 2. bis knapp über 100 ziehen.

den V5 hatten wir vor jahren mal im passat. war ein guter laufruhiger motor, aber im sprint nich besonders durchzugsstark wie man hier sieht. also da geht mein octavia 1.8T besser, siehe meine videos... und der basiert auf der gleichen plattform wie der bora.

Because it's not really a V engine, it's more like a straight engine. It has slightly canted cylinders to make it more compact than a traditional straight, with the power hike from a slight V yet still has the smoothness from the straight.

This is a VR6/R32 engine with a cylinder missing.

Hmm, wenn du meinst...natürlich sind die Zeitangaben nur Schätzwerte. Aber das sind sie für jedermann. Ich konnte mich nicht beklagen, hätte aber sicher nicht schlecht gestaunt, wenn ein 1,6er (VW) drangeblieben wär. Ist mir damals nie passiert ;)

mein opel 1,6 turbo schaffts in unter 9 sekunden und ja, das sind min. 10 sekunden, der tacho zeigt bei 100km/h ca. 5km/h zu viel an.

und nicht alles sind schätzwerte, weil wenn man es misst daraus ein messwert wird

@saradoe Jep meiner auch die von VW angegebenen 9,2 sec sind quatsch. Wenn man die Gänge richtig ausfährt kommt man sogar unter 8,5. Ist natürlich auch ne Frage wie gut er eingefahren wurde.

@saradoe Immer wieder gerne. Vorallem der 2. Gang. Man kommt ja bis 100 km/h. Ich hab nicht schlecht gestaunt als ich das bei meinem Tolli sah. Hatte vorher ja nur die Erfahrung mit nem 1,9 TDI 110 PS und meinem eigenen Golf 3 mit 60 PS gemacht. Beide brauchten den 3. Gang bis 100 und dann hieß es schalten. Den 2. so ausfahren mach ich aber nur höchst selten. Würd gern mal wissen wieviel der Bora wiegt. Toledo und der Bora haben ja den gleichen Motor. So groß kann der Unterschied nicht sein.

The Bora V5 actually has a 0-100km/h time of around 8.5 seconds and that's not hard to achieve.

Honda say the 2009 AWD Fit/Jazz Sport is capable of a 9.46 seconds 0-100km/h time. If you read reveiws though most testers have found it hard to squeeze less than 10sec 0-100km/h time......This car would probably be 7 years younger than your Fit, it's the 10v version and has around 150BHP - get a real car mate...IMHO I wouldnt be letting anyone know I drive a Honda!

this is a 10v older model, the later V5's are 178HP, 220 Remapped, this is like 150 hp or less due to its age, V5's can rip a lot of things ie silvia, subaru RX, pretty much anything in its class

Its a VR5 derived from the VR6 engines. So, de facto, Its a V5 engine with a 15 dagree angle between the cylinder banks and only one common cylinder-head.

It is not so simple. It is not an inline 5 as the cylinders are tilted. V5 is the closest description. Its not perfect but what letter could you use? Its really a /5.

V4s exist and are exactly what they sound like. Ive never heard anyone say V4 and mean an inline 4 or a flat/boxer 4.

Off course it is a V5. I own a Seat Toledo V5. It is derived from the famous VR6 in the VW Golf with 15 degrees angle between the cylinders. Just because you can't find it in USA, it doesn't mean that it doesn't exists...
