@1gamoguy having hunted for 24 years now and on my 20th deer kill i can tell you....it actually IS all about getting a great shot, about the kill. it is not about freezing to death or having a beautiful walk in the woods.
@midatlanticcycle well the only thing i can say then is to each their own, everytime you go out hunting you should enjoy nature, the sounds and the smells, and if your fortunate enough to get that perfect shot, and dream deer thats just the cherry on top, if you go out expecting to get a perfect shot EVERYTIME, or see a deer EVERYTIME more times than not your going to walk back out of the field very unhappy
