  • @kramer87 Yes, yes, I know. You see, two years ago I used to troll quite a bit. Don't do that anymore. Language sir, language. I mean really. Shame on you.

  • First minute: "Oh yeah, he's got some pretty good technique, especially for that many strings"

    At 1:18: O_o

  • this is one of my favorite bassplayers!!!!!

  • Good to see Lee is still out and about. Is he still blowing for War?

  • lovely!!!

  • can i just say that i would love to have that bass. its so cool. but then i realize that i could never play as well as bill (insert sad face here).

  • Bill is the man I would love to meet him some day

  • I don't like the way his bass sounds too much. I think that white finish really dulls the true potential to its sound.

  • Fantastic!

  • Groovy(癶_癶)

  • This is pretty darn good.

  • WORD!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 1.18 INSANE !

  • 1.18 shiiiiiiiiiiiiieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet

  • I met him and saw him play on the Peavy tour back in 93' at Pops in Sauget, IL - he allowed me to play his 9 and 11 string bass....as best I could...what an awesome guy and killer musician. The speed at which this guy is capable of is mind blowing....a must see to believe.

  • super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super

  • Amazing! I saw him live and if you think he looks fast here you will be blown away if you see him live.

  • satorres82 U must be german or russian.

This bass is exactly what groove means

  • @slangworld C'mon, I'm german and i LOVE the way Bill is playing Bass. :-)

  • @slangworld

alright, I guess it's racist time again -.-

  • @slangworld omg how much shit can a person be talking?

  • obviously you have no sense of rhythm....or you have no pockets

  • @satorres82 can you show us some funkier youtube videos then?

  • @jakegreenburger Man, I posted that over a year ago... How about any bass player besides this yahoo?

  • @satorres82 Can you do any better yahoo??

  • @fenderbass I think most people could do better at playing the "bass". Can't figure out what that thing is... Guitar/bass hybrid. Why not just go all the way and just play the Chapman stick. Sorry, this guy sounds like crap.

  • @satorres82 shut the fuck up. Go and watch teletubbies.

  • @satorres82

Bill Dickens plays his signature Conklin ERB7 seven string bass. It is not a hybrid thing. Every bass guitar player is aware of that, as Bill has been on the scene for about 40 years. His seminal bass work is basic to contemporary bass players.

  • @touaregkc Yes I know. I was trolling with that comment over a year ago. Before the term "troll" was fully known. I don't like his style, but I will admit he has talent and a firm grasp on the dynamics of musical theory when applied to the bass guitar.

  • I play a Conklin GT-7 string bass. not bills sig edition but the stock and its a sweet tool man. To see him walk up and down it like that makes me humble as hell...

  • disgusting! (as in amazing)

  • Needs Cowbell or something

  • @bassmasta992 Maybe Poppa Dee Allen on percussion:)

  • lee oskar always blows me away with his style and abilities...lawrance dickens was a great bass player too! bill is for sure a great bass player!

  • Bill has such a great tone and just overall comand over that damn thing. Doesn't look like a monster 7 string in his hands haha.

  • Cool, so solid.

  • Great!
