I met him and saw him play on the Peavy tour back in 93' at Pops in Sauget, IL - he allowed me to play his 9 and 11 string bass....as best I could...what an awesome guy and killer musician. The speed at which this guy is capable of is mind blowing....a must see to believe.

Bill Dickens plays his signature Conklin ERB7 seven string bass. It is not a hybrid thing. Every bass guitar player is aware of that, as Bill has been on the scene for about 40 years. His seminal bass work is basic to contemporary bass players.
