@Dougsquin originally, gazpacho didn't contain tomato or pepper, it was based on the cucumber, and has oorish origins. however, after the discovery of america, the recipe evolved and, by the XVIII century, we have testimonies prooving that it adopted a similar recipe to the one nowadays, based on tomato
