Another talkie saying RP is "Unelectable." I generally agree with Savage but... he assumes what here? Being honest, an outsider who made his presence on the backs of The People, he has shown great wisdom, he's got insight being the ONLY candidate EVER to warned of our financial crisis far in advance. He comes with no banker strings, cannot be bought, and he says what he believes not what people want to hear. Savage is right! He needs to steal, lie, & be dumbed down to be "electable."

@KingDingaLing090 I'm kind of critical of Ron Paul, but going back 4 years ago on financial shows, he stated he would be in favor of a Hayekian competing currencies within our system, which is why he always states "I will legalize the constitution" which means he will allow gold and silver back in the monetary system, which at the moment is not part of it.

The fact that many people still don't know his positions well is a testament to his ineffectiveness as a true communicator.

@takerdust he always said he would phase out the Fed, which would take several years, and the fed dollar would be in competition with the marketplace. But since the Republican and Democrats in power had diminished the dollar so much, I still wonder what would occur when the FED is on its way out.

@takerdust The gold in supposedly in Fort Knox is an asset. It is in the monetary system because it backs up our US treasury notes (a promise to pay something back) as a liquidable asset of the US. Ron Paul said he wanted to sell all of that gold. So he would in fact be taking the gold out of the monetary system. Saying "I will legalize the constitution" is a meaningless statement, the only tangible thing he could do to enforce that is nominate like minded Judges... (to be continued)

You disappoint me Savage. The success of Texas's economy is in no way thanks to Rick Perry. Taxes have doubles since he's been in office.
