  • Now this was AMAZING...

  • best magic trick in awhile.....but even so the people 100 years ago did use this to find their wells. it was all the technology they had. relative would be 100 this year in his 90 he told me he saw it done as a boy, it was sucessful and he was a man of invention and science but did not know HOW it was done.

  • reality hits you hard bro

  • which show was this from?

  • Dowsing, ...Is aliens.

  • Dowsing, ... Is aliens.

  • What's amazing is that anyone believes this bullshit!

  • please people stop trying to understand all this bul@@it....

Go out of your house and be social! Dont try to fool nobody or learn how to fool others. Find your people, your friends and speak truth with them. What YOU see as truth. And revolute against all those masons with the dark suits behind the media

  • but anyway,,rods are uselles to search for plastic. THe clip is fake, the dowser an actor and the whole purpose of the film to make the viewers brain deads being fooled all their life by a stupid guy with a dark suit.

  • Do you have any idea how many days you need to "scan" all this deserted area by feet..?

The dowser(actor), finds the plastic can far away from the start point...to reach that point he must have scan all the area before...this would have taken him at least some days if he was a dowser .....

  • -The guy who is supposed to search for water starts walking to the desert..

-after some time he steps on place where he says there is water..

-he digs into the earth and there he finds a hidden note from the veryclever derrenbrown...

how the hell did he found a film box with his rods?????????

this kind of tv shows are made to make people to watch something meaningless, that proves nothing and make them believe whatever "the guy with the Armani says.."

    sucks

  • He could have found water if he WAS KEEP DIGING....

Dowses could have gotten affected by a stream 3 metres under the surface...

THis video proves nothing but a sissy alien TV presenter who have never even touch earth in his plastic life.

    OUST!

  • Science of the right cerebral hemisphere....beyond 1+1

  • Haha its a simple post hypnotic suggestion. He KNEW that spot (he got told in hypnosys). And he got told to have those feelings triggerd with those questions. No actors where used, the volunteers where used (and hynotised with complete amnesia). Amazing yet again Derren

  • i was thinking ''blue'' 5 sec before the dude said it! omfg....

  • I felt very sad for Ralph at the end.

  • Can someone explain to me what his theory for finding this is? The rods are reacting to our subconscious and not to water?? He obviously found the canister.. which no water was present. So, how did he find the canister? Why?

    Thanks in advance

  • @erok2020

    Suggestion i guess.

Do notice that the canister was buried under the crossing of 2 tracks and that the guy wanderd around for very, very long. Derren probbebly did alot of talking to make sure he "didn't get bored" if you know what i'm saying.

    Or he hired an actor.

I hope he doesn't use actors (witch would explain all the amazing things he had done)

  • @wybo2

Sorry, it needs to be 'NEAR the crossing of 2 tracks'

  • Listen at the 2:25 MARK "what color would you give it (do a right)" he tells him, he reacts but he does not realize he told him. Amazing how this works.

  • What I still don't understand is how he knew to stop at that location -- water or no water. He had such a huge desert to search in, why that one spot??

I'm not suggesting dowsing works by any means, but I would still like some sort of explanation.

  • Daren's words were too low resolution for the specific location that the man started digging in. Daren guided the man's conversation, but the man found the location with limited help from the words Darren used. Dowsing is not just about water. It is about the FACT that the subconscious mind can know everything. Daren Brown is an opportunist trickster. For his act to work, he has to be a debunker.

  • @UFODisclosures Fact? In that case it must be easily demonstrable and backed up by other facts. I had no idea this was the case. It's a wonder they don't teach "the subconscious mind can know everything" in schools.

  • O.o amazing!

  • Dowsing is a sort of tool to help us, this video is actually proving that dowsing does work as the guys was able to find the water! Another thing, that I'm not surprised that the guy who suggests these thoughts into the person looking for the water is able to do so, as we are all able to do it. Read a little more on dowsing and you will learn more about your own powers.

  • @joanni76 You are an idiot. Did you even watch the same video as the rest of us? The guy was NOT able to find the water as you INCORRECTLY write as there was NO water in the container. Dousing is fake and it doesn't work. This is a magic trick. Magic is also fake, in case you were wondering.

  • @DevinThomas Oh, please. People have been dowsing for thousands of years. It's worked perfectly fine for anyone I know who has tried it. It's no different than swinging a hammer, or turning on the radio to listen to a broadcast. No, radio signals aren't fake, in case you were wondering.

  • @anon540 You are misinformed. Dowsing has never been scientifically verified to work beyond mere chance. Also, bloodletting went on for over 2,000 years until it was proved to be fake. Are we supposed to accept bloodletting (and dowsing) just because people have been doing it for a long time? Your argument is baseless, unsound, and ignorant of the facts. Sorry, you are wrong about dowsing!

  • @DevinThomas

I never said anything about science. Science proves whatever the scientist at hand wants to prove. "Science" says the earth is getting hotter and hotter every day. This is such an obvious fallacy it shouldn't even need to be discussed.

I'm simply saying that dowsing is as practical today as it has always been. It hasn't let me down, and it hasn't let others down. I'm sorry if it's let your scientists down, but that's not my problem.

  • @anon540 you're such a fucking idiot. from the clear misconceptions you hold to the retarded last sentence you threw in there, your comment reveals not only your lack of knowledge, but your lack of critical thinking ability. and btw it's fine to pull off proper capitalization, grammar, and function of language if you're consistent about it.

"I'm sorry if it's let your scientists down" <-- shit makes you look like a joke, bro

  • watch radionics software

  • Comment removed

  • lasse sarcasm, sarcasm lasse.

  • well im convinced, there is absolutely nothing misleading here.

  • What's funny is that actual people who practice real dowsing will totally agree that it is you that is controlling the rods however it's the unconscious mind that you are working with who is directing you where to go. Look up info on Paul Smith and other people who worked with Dowsing for the military and were quite successful.

  • This was great. If the guy was a little more clever he would've realized that he was being guided with a little word association game.

  • @Rookmang

    Haha. =D

  • I made some rods once out of coat hanger. I didn't believe in this stuff so gave it a try after watching a guy find a water line in my front yard. I had my daughter randomly place 12 magazines around the living room floor and hide a quarter under one. I went to another room with the door closed while she hid the quarter. The rods guided me to the hidden coin by pointing toward the magazine. They crossed and uncrossed above the correct magazine. I found the hidden quarter every time.

  • While searching I stared only at the rods and had her stand far back away from the array of magazines to avoid any possible cues from her face. Now I found days later with no magazines on the floor the rods would cross over locations on the carpet where the quarters had been which is very interesting. It's as the object created a virtual image of itself in some other realm. Lastly the rods loved house plants. I got rid of the rods because I feared that it was some kind of occult thing I was

  • Lol, a man found water on our farm with dowsing, and my great great grandfather found water with dowsing, problem is people dont believe in something they dont understand, like the earth is round and we revolve around the sun :P

  • uh the earth is flat buddy, if it was round, we wouldn't be able to keep our balance and our buildings would fall down

  • @flabslapper thats a joke right?

  • lol of coarse, everybody knows the Earth is round AND flat, like a coin.

    I'm joking again haha

  • There are a lot of tell-tale signs of subterranean pools and aquifers. However, if everyone knew that, the wouldn't hire men with odd little sticks to tell them what geology could already tell them, would they?

  • Then those geologists or whatever should come out and disprove it, people argue over experiments years ago proving or disproving dowsing, I would like to see an experiment now, however, scientists are largely to closed minded to ever try that.

  • Because already have. Repeatedly. For years and years. And every time, the results are always the same. James Randi has been offering 1 million dollars for anyone to show him dowsing demonstrated in a controlled experiment. People have tried. And every time, the results are no better than random guessing. Don't you think that after all these years, at least ONE person would want to make an easy million?

  • I would like to see James Randi doing an experiment to show that Darren Brown really can do these subconscious mind tricks on people... Until I have good reason to believe this "guiding" was not an act, I will be sceptic of the "sceptic" just as much as I am of the "dowsers", "psychics" and such. Him admiting openly that he doesn't have supernatural powers and that he's using tricks doesn't prove he's not doing other tricks to trick the viewers about some other things, too. ;)

  • correct - this is no proof that Derren does use trickery of the mind. He uses quote:"magic, suggestion, psychology, misdirection and showmanship" if we believe he tells us the truth - which we don't know either, then he's using any combination of the above to create this illusion...he also adds he doesn't use stooges - again - if we believe him....

  • @loverich This becomes painfully obvious when he does the silly stunts like the arcade game that makes people pass out.

He would have had me going if he stayed away from that kind of stuff.

  • @loverich derren brown is kind of the new era magician. he tries to fake that what he does is grounded in science. he freely admits in interviews quite frequently that the whole toying with the subconscious and all that stuff he talks about is just bull shit and he's the same old magician we've been seeing for centuries just with new tricks and new cover stories

the fun bit is appreciating how damn convincing he is and trying to figure it all out

  • @loverich

hypnotism is not a magic trick, it is simply exploiting a state of mind.

  • @loverich Whats James Randi have to do with it? Derren isn't claiming to have magical poweres or psi?

  • thanks

i am a man who found water in a desert place with this technic, i believe in him.

I have evidence video of my search i can upload it..

    Thanks a lot

  • Wonderful. I thought Darren was guiding him in because he believed in dowsing, but what a great set-up that was. I just read about a medicine this morning that was tested and approved by a dowser and I was shocked that people still belive in that nonsense.

  • Fake. Stagged. Great acting.

  • The big give-away with both dowsing and the ouija board is that grubby human hands on on both! Now, if we had a seance with a ouija board, and the glass moved untouched by human hands, and if we suspended dowsing roads on wires, and they moved when over water.....

  • Come on, guys. This is so easy. Darren gave him subconscious suggestions where to go as they were talking. Listen to it again.

  • do you seriously like represent Shinto? because its pretty much indoctrinated around believing in Psychic phenomena haha what an ill-educated stance of certainty!

  • You have to love YouTube. Derren Brown is a well-known illusionist who uses a variety of techniques (such as subconcious suggestion) as part of his stage act to make people do things. Spend any time with Google and you'll find he rejects the supernatural, and has less than kind words for people who claim they have psychic powers.

Despite all this, when YouTubers see his illusions, the best response they can come up with is "it's fake." Well, duh. Of course it's fake! That's the point!

  • @JapanIsShinto then derren has pulled the wool over your eyes too. subconscious suggestion he uses is completely overplayed and exaggerated. he sounds more convincing to some people by rejecting the supernatural and appealing to science. in reality, he's pulling the same dumb tricks as everyone else, he just has different cover explanations

  • Google orgonite :)

  • This is fake. It's chicanery. Dowsing is nothing but the idiomotor effect. Much like how a Ouija board works.

  • uhh.. guys, dowsing has ben used for millenia, and is particularly famous for its aid to the british navy in wwII in their persuit of the "untrackable" Uboats...

  • Ooo, send me this famous instance, I would so love to read it

  • Rubbish, dowsing has been 'disproven' again and again, sonar was what tracked the U-boats. They were Churchill's greatest concern until they cracked it. Radar and Sonar are the two SCIENTIFIC inventions that saved the UK. If we'd relied on dowsing we'd all be speaking German today.

  • yeah, radar was very important in the Battle of Britain and air superiority was a key factor in the win over Germany

  • @dorbie Dowsing has been very successfully used since long before U-Boats were ever dreamt up. Besides that, you'll find there to be a significant difference between something buried in the earth, and a submarine.

  • @anon540 Rubbish, dowsing has never been successfully used for anything, it does not work. Your kind of idiotic belief and special pleading has been thoroughly discredited by experiment. Dowsing does not work and the onus is on YOU to prove that it works through properly controlled experiments.

  • Wonderfull presentation of the idiomotor effect.

  • How many schmucks did Darren have do this before they got it right?

  • So fake xD

  • First Derren points him in the correct direction, then he talks about how it "can be RIGHT over (..)". The color blue, and the water is obvious when they have talked about water for a long time. Also, "hear", "closer too it" and "how do you HEAR(=here) it" . He is basically saying "it is here, you are close". I'm not gonna explain this further, but you get the idea. I suggest watching more of his videos, and perhaps reading one of his books if you're genuinly interested in these sort of things.

  • Also, Derren is not "going for the million" because he is not claiming to have supernatural abilities, in fact he claims the exact opposite.

Watch "Messiah" to see him make fun of "psychics" and people who claim they're contacting the dead.

  • Or it was in the spade shaft and they popped it out once he started digging. It didn't matter where he would dig and they focused on geting him to say what was on the note. They may have prepepd him in ways he was unaware of and we did not see, or done some background research on him.

  • How did he do this????

  • Look up James Randi and Dowsing. It's actually off to the side.

  • Because Derren Brown is a showman, a magician. Just like James Randi. Randi can show you magic tricks that will blow your mind, doesn't make it supernatural.

  • lolololol fake

  • its true guys

  • That was interesting. I would have liked to see an explanation of how Brown guided the dowser's movements.

  • i caught one part... where he said it could be in the DUNES or anywhere. if you pay close attention you can catch subtle hints

  • Derren Brown is for real...

  • omg this is joke :D

  • man! aren't they HOT! lol ....or is it cool there?

  • kutiboo-- the sun is setting and if you listen closely you can hear the wind is blowing. So It seems it would be hot because of the desert, but its not. Hope that helped ^_^

  • thnx lol i was burning up just LOOKING at them in those jackets. I'm like uuuh it looks about 180 degrees there why he jackets...lol. but thnx for that calrification.

  • No Prob - check out Derren Brown on youtube - there's lots of kick ass stuff he does

  • cool, ty for uploadin man
