  • MALINGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG

  • The real Minangkabau house Called "Rumah Gadang"even better than that.

  • another plagiarism from malingsia... ohhh gosshhhhh.... ;(

  • ah..that architectural house is really really minangkabau house, by repair model from that home,....i laughing looking that, simply Malaysia have not own traditional house and try to plagiarize of Indonesia coulture, that is minang kabau house who famous by title Rumah gadang (Big house),..............so where Malasyia traditional home, simply they don't have civilization...how poor u are

  • this will make Malaysian ashamed by adopting Indonesian culture, instead of proposing Malay culture...

hey Malaysian.. speak up.. before your country makes you ashamed...

  • a shame to malaysian architecture and its practitioners. I really want to know who is the architect behind all this shit. rumah kampung + twin towers? you must be kidding me. It should be. the ROJAK HOUSE

  • will definitely visit my home country's pavilion. I'm proud of Malaysia being a very versatile country whatever negative views will not discourage us but will help us improve ... Malaysia boleh !

  • first of all I don't want to comment about the Minangkabau house origin, well I think we all know where is Minangkabau is (if you happened to not know where is it, try too look at your map and search for the island of Sumatera)...

but seriously guys...the design is very poor, to be honest your Malaysian pavilion quiet crappy and tacky in the term of design...

  • Malaysia had much better options which you can see if you search for the proposals submitted for this project.

I am sorely disappointed as a Malaysian by the current pavilion. Malaysia DOES have its own unique culture(s) to showcase but unfortunately because of an incompetent government riddled by corruption, we have this sorry ass presentation to show for at a "WORLD EXPO".

Ng Yen Yen, your actions as the Minister of Tourism brings shame to the country.

  • A bunch of Nut - nuts morons .

  • Thanks Malaysia for promoting Minangkabau... (Originality much?)

  • Laughed my ass off. The ministry was being conned by the stupid architect. Great. This is such a laughing stock...and some of the indons here are right...poor malaysia just dun have an identity or culture of its own.

  • @lonel99memang banyak orang minangkabau yang ada di malaysia...tapi apakah tidak lebih baik jika malaysia membangun pavilion yang menggambarkan keseluruhan etnis ?? bukan hanya etnis mingangkabau??

  • they will show the rich culture of indonesia?

    is it?

    then thanks to malaysia, then,,\

but why dont they promote their nation?

  • ooo.....POOR MALAYSIA......

  • badly executed, especially for a world expo

  • Pavilion is inspired by the Minangkabau architecture and will showcase the rich culture and technological advancements of INDONESIA, true?

  • Poor Malaysia ... they don't have any culture, so they have to borrow it from Indonesia LOL ...

  • @beat218 : ic..from indonesia..really?

no wonder it's soo weird n ugly. sighh

    such a wasted RM20million!

    :(

  • i am confused...that pavillion is permanent or only an one-time thing for World Expo2010 in Shanghai?

  • All the pavilions built by different countries will be dismantled after the Expo, except for several buildings and pavilions especially the China Pavilion.
