  • Truthforamerica, I hope you're being sarcastic. This is not bullshit. Watch the documentary Gasland - if you still think hydraulic fracturing is crap, then you are doing nothing else but negating the ecological reality we face, or you just don't give.

  • The fact that Rainn Wilson said this is a good link on Twitter let me know it was pure crap.

  • Rainn Wilson sent me here, and I was hoping it was BSG-related. Lol.

  • Frack away theres only a year left anyway..

  • Thumbs up if I sent you here!

    ( I am Rainn Wilson)

  • BeAnEarthNut- Bravo! It's time for free energy to become a reality!

  • Ellen Page. <3

  • WTFFFFFFFFFF they are killing my New York!

  • their is not need to drill anymore, its time for the rich but holes to open up their patent vaults full of ides that can prof we don't need to drill for oil or gas anymore!

why is there so much technology hold back!

  • They're fracking us in North Dakota, too. Check out my song/video on my channel. It pisses of oil/gas lovers and Halliburton thugs, according to my inbox and news reports.

  • Have you ever visited a well being fracked? I'm sure that answer is "no". If you had, you would see how impossible it is for any of the water used to get into ground water. Wells are sealed, and contained during the process. only the "shoddy" companies have problems. Thats why it can be done responsibly. What we need is more responsability from the states conservation department.

Its kind of like a contractor needing a permit. So someone can see that the work is done corectly. drilling is safe

  • @69cowboypa well i dont care what you say i know pollution more then fracking ok you got me there big fracking deal there happy, but the fact remains at some time after you frack for gas the dam chemicals boric acid Will leach Up into the water how ever long it takes it Will, and by then what are you going to say, O its Natural, Or its Not from the fracking X amount of years ago, What are you going to tell the people years after drilling when the water shows then chemicals in it!,IT WILL HAPPEN

  • @BeAnEarthNut really! It will completely defy gravity, travel over 10,000 ft, thru compressed bedrock just to contaminate our water, which lies witin the first 1000 ft of surface.

The more you speak, the more I realize you dont have a clue!

  • if anyone wants to know one of the chemicals they use to frack with its

    called: BORIC ACID,

Google this: boric acid used in fracking

ok now Google this: boric acid effects on humans

Google this2: boric acid side effects

feel free to play around with the words your all will find out a hole bunch of nice things toxic things to read up on about fracking!

BoricAcid is also lighter then water so when used in drilling it likes to rise to the surface to contaminate lakes streams tap water

  • this is really beginning to piss me off the fact that the water is being contaminated and fellow new yorkers all over new york don't seem to give a hoot, i have been telling people for year and not many Really understand the problems happening around them

  • @BeAnEarthNut Tell me, where is this contaminatted water? I work for a company that is testing every single pond, spring, creek, river and household water supply within 4000 ft of any gas well being drilled. We are an idependant company. 46,000 employees strong. We have found no water contamination in PA, as of yet. Methane is the only thing we have been able to find. 1 in 10 houses tested, before drilling starts has metane in levels that can be lit. its naturally occuring!

  • @69cowboypa tell you where to fine contaminated water, all you have to do is look at the videos of people around fracking sites in other states, 46,000 strong and like most Experts, you still are on the side of fracking companies, and to protect jobs like yours you people like to play the "its naturally occurrence card" how is that possible when the gas is locked in Rock, then humans use etching chemicals to free the gas from the rock. don't pull the shade over my eyes sir, it wont work!

  • @BeAnEarthNut I have just realized you are a moron. You have no fact to back your claims, ( unlike me) and you prefer to spew gossip as fact. 46,000 contaminated wells? Is that what you are trying to tell me?

It is natually occuring. Just ask someone who drills water wells for a living! Bet you never thought to do that! On second thought, why would you. You prefer to spread gossip. Cant have a battle of wits with an un armed person!

  • @69cowboypa well you really off the wall here with this one, first you say you "We are an independent company. 46,000 employees strong" then i say "46,000 strong and like most Experts, you still are on the side of fracking companies, and to protect jobs like yours you people like to play the "its naturally occurrence card" then you say "46,000 contaminated wells? Is that what you are trying to tell me?" Sir Please when it comes to wits you just implemented something i did Not Say You Moron! LOL

  • @69cowboypa then as far as the many fracking wells out there how many homes have contaminated water After the drilling, or even chemicals not in the water before drilling, so fracking companies lie and say the fracking chemicals where there all a long, that is such a dam Lie to tell anyone! i dont need facts to back up what i have to say,. someone who drills water wells for a living will also know that"they dont use Fracking chemicals to drill for water"gas release from water drilling dose stop

  • @69cowboypa drill into rock with just water well drilling, can produce a gas simply from the drill head presser on the rock, when the water well is dun, so is the gas when the hole is flushed with Water. note in fracking chemicals are not used in water drilling!

  • @BeAnEarthNut your a MORON. You dont even know what your talking about. first, well drillers often find pocktes of methane when drilling. there is no such thing as "Making gas due to pressure" . Are you for real! Look at your spelling.

I am talking to a child!

  • @69cowboypa Well, a true Moron will argue and you started it there happy! You want to defend the gas companies then the true moron is you because you have Big money to back you up! i would rather be homeless with no job then Lie to people about there tap water like you have! people like you should be glad people like me dont have endless money with enough research i would shove the truth in your face and be Very public in telling the truth to the hole energy commission!

  • 70,00 wells drilled! how many of them went bad? You are all a bunch of "wack jobs" This video is produced to make you scared. Look at all the animation showing wells all over the place. Its nothing like that. Maybe you should attempt to inform yourself before you listen to all the "hype''

By the way, I work for a company that tests water at drilling sites. We are a private company. So far, in PA we have not found one well "contaminated by drilling". We test before drilling, and after.

  • You won't be able to stop it because you people have no power. Maybe your senators are already bought by the oil compaines. You are not allowed to protest, you have lost many of your civil rights, you weren't able to impeach Bush as a war criminal, you couldn't even get a 9/11 reinvestigation, and you had the Supreme Court refusing to get Obama to prove his citizenship. In short, your presidents and vice presidents are or were acting as CEO's for corporations. It's an oligarchy.

  • To stop frackng(continued). In Pennsylvania call your senators and tell them to enact the frac act(S.1215), and to approveBill 2235. Tell your friends co-workers, family, and others to call their representatives about these bills aswell. If reps get at least 50% of constituents calling and against fracking, they will go with the voice of the people. Find your house representatives @ votesmart/org or legis/state/pa/us Visit my facebook: Aj Beegs for lists of bills and reps. in Northeast Pa.

  • If there's anyone reading this that wants the best way to stop fracking, call your house representatives, senators, congressmen, and governor. Tell them to enact the frac act (H.R.2766) and (S.1215). Urge them to move towards a moratorium at the state level until hydraulic fracturing can be stopped completely. In Pennsylvania, tell your house reps. to approve house bills2213,2609,2608, and house resolutions 864&381. Call your senators and tell them to enact the frac act (S.1215) and approve

  • A chilling thought to know that a corporation can move into your neighborhood and absolutely destroy the environment around it with no consequences. It also appears that low income, depressed areas are particularly vulnerable.

  • informative

  • Frack Dick Cheney in the SoHo.

  • Don't frack me bro !

  • If I didn't know any better, I would say this was an attempt by the gas companies to get us all dismissed as unreasonable whack jobs. There are a lot of important concerns including:

    1. Property rights of people with gas on their lands

    2. Costs vs benefits to the communities involved

    3. How will this affect the wildlife in the area

    4. What is the actual risk of an ecological disaster

Saying "Drilling is bad, booga booga booga!" may be a quick way to get a crowd, but it's a double edged sword.

  • Take the value out of fossil fuels and all this nonsense will come to a quick end. Vote for Solar Roadways in the Ecomagination Challenge.

  • Yes, we've watched Gasland in NYS. We also had a visit from Mayor Tillman, from Dish, TX to advise us against this horror that now is plaquing his small town in Texas. He was up in the Catskills in early March at a few major locations and spoke out against it. Warning us to have these tests done and ask what chemicals are in the fracking process. I understand that there are over 500 such in it and it is evaporating into the air, what that does not spill into our wells and waterways.

  • Pennsylvania Crack Whore Politicians. The Political Ruling Class. The Red Carpet Crowd.

They have sold their souls for a buck and a little power. This will not stop until the people of Pennsylvania wake-up and teach the politicians how to fly from the top of the U.S. Steel Tower,

  • Back from EPA hearing in Pittsburgh, Pa. crowd of 1200 jammed the place. For 4 hrs folks from Pa, W. Va.7 Ohio tell what happens to leased for property, towns fall apart, they are sick, their pets& stock sick & dying u can't drink the water. Pittsburgh is broke, unemployment has RISEN in Pa. Jobs? Liars...NO FRACKINGNEW YORK, they didn't get the memo yet. We demand clean non fossil fuel development, safe jobs.

  • I've watched gasland 4 times now. I can't believe there isn't national headlines about the danger of contamination. It's horrible!!!!!

  • I didn't know that Dick Cheney continues to be one of the most destructive men in the entire world- Halliburton invented Fracking & Dick is spreading the poisons all over this country.

Don't let him come to upstate NY!

  • It's time to recognize that all of these environmental assault issues are connected to a root cause. That root cause is the continuing accumulation of case law that allows corporations to act as if they are blood and bone people under the law. Until we change the laws allowing corporations to serve themselves and not serve our interests these abominations will continue. Demand an end to Corporate personhood. in 1776 there was such a demand for placing the people in control.

  • @MrPobr how about we go deeper to the root of the problem then corporations as this is planet wide in any profession. We need a resource based economy not one based on money. There is one called the Venus Project. theVenusProject dot (com)

  • @MrPobr Definitely! I believe it was the 14th amendment (yes, passed by Lincoln) that paved the way for corporations to have the same rights as individuals -- but without the responsibilities. This needs to change. Do you know of an organization that has this as their primary mission?

  • Please put this on every blog, article or anything else you write. Send its URL (web address above, or click the "share" button) to everybody you know that might understand it.

You can't "save upstate New York" by destroying it. "Safe drilling" is a lie, like "cold fusion." The only people who believe it are those paid to believe it. And they're not being paid as much as they believe.

Save them from themselves and keep the flaming gas-holes out of New York.
