My parents put me on Ritalin when I was 5, (because a child isn't supposed to be hyper?), I was on it until I was 15, then they put me on anti-depressants, (because a side-effect of Ritalin is depression, and it stunts your growth).

I took Zoloft and Effexor separately for 2 years and finally quit them (and my stomach hurt for a month or 2 when I had withdrawls, also if I didn't eat and take the medicine when I woke up as well) Oh, and they never helped anyway.

Basically - fuck pharmeceuticals.

Not only do anti-depressants not work, they're exremely HARMFULL !

So the news media reports are water-downed versions of the truth, because following the report there'll a commercial from Merck, or Pfizer about "how wonderful, safe and effective" drugs are. Although, in the other video Meredith did, about the MOTHERS Act she does have me talk about how I was getting worse on the drugs... although with only a minute or so it is harder to get the message across. I never would have had "PPD" or "PPP" or maybe not even thyroiditis, if I hadn't taken Zoloft. See the one from Brooke Richie - I actually got to say the part about how Zoloft maed me homicidal...

Pretty sure someone in Texas is getting money under the table for all this. All Foster kids in Texas are put on pharmecueticals. San Antonio has a major pharmecuetical distribution center for insurance company of educators across texas. All women should have a hormonal blood panel after they give birth. Some women become anemic (b deficiency) with the 6 weeks of bleeding.

Yes, and if we are not told to get rest, we bleed more. Why are our OBs telling us to diet and exercise the moment we have the baby? We need to be fed and told to lay around in the bed with the baby for a long time after the birth! Rather than test for hormonal problems, anemia, etc. their only answer to get you out of the office is to give you drugs. And if your baby nearly dies, they do not want to hear it. Instead they tell you to stop worrying. They tell you you are overly paranoid.

I think in this particular story they were just trying to get the word out to people to think twice & trying not to scare people... These are definitely killer drugs. It used to be common for psychiatrists to encourage patients to try a second, third, or fourth drug if the first does not work for anxiety or depression. People are finally waking up to the reality that they are just choosing a different poison. When you hear about school shootings, sexual escapades, random acts of violence, etc., check if the people were on SSRIs. Sure, a person pulls a trigger, and they are responsible for what they do, but the drug companies are the primary cause of death.

Its more than obvious the FDA does not care about anyone. The pharmaceutical companies should be forced to stop selling SSRI anti-depressants. The class action lawsuits have already piled sky high. The pills kill people; they are not just ineffective. Hundreds of thousands of suicides and homicides have been confirmed due to these pills. I know that withdrawal is much worse than any effects of being on the pills, but not everyone is so lucky to survive. The addiction lasts a long time.
