  • Lost control? He got fucking rear ended!

  • i really wish i could have seen Dale race, unfortunately the first race i ever watched was the 2001 Daytona 500 :(

  • Does anyone know how rare is the die cast of the car that is in this video?

  • @teslawizardvvv3 There's usually a few on eBay at once, but youll have to dish out about $250 - $350 depending on the circumstances ;)

Im a diehard Earnhardt fan, and I collect hi diecasts (Action 1/24 only) and that car is on my wantlist, and has been for a long time.

  • Holy crap, he got injured in this crash, and still raced? That's freaking impressive! Nobody would expect what happened four years later to happen.

  • he finished the race right?

  • yes

  • this crazy s.o.b (god rest his sole) gets back in the car after this. God he was awesome

  • thats bullshit, I remember watching the race and a different commitator had to tell him that Sr was hit and not for nothing, SR was rubbed on the side by Gordon right before. Notice how this one speaking here isnt working no more with Nascar

  • looks alot like MM's flip at talladega a week ago

  • Yeah right Jarrett didn't hit Earnhardt, did that guy have tomatos on his eyes, you can clearly see that Jarrett caught Earnhardts right rear quater panel and spun him into the outside wall

  • I don't care if Gordon did put him into the wall. It comes down to who won the race. Anybody want to take a guess at who did? Thats right, Jeff Gordon.

  • yeah go JG

  • i have a model from this crash

  • i have a picture of him when in was in the 3rd turn with the window net down putting his gear back on lol

  • I was so mad at Gordon for putting Earnhardt into the wall which started it all. I hated Gordon for a few years after that. Thanks for the clip.

  • you blame gordon for that? pfft dale got loose and jarrett got into him

  • Gordon force him into the wall. If the clip started about 10 seconds earlier you'd see it.

  • well to bad gordon didn't, wach and YOU SHALL SEE

  • Like I said if the clip had started earlier you would of seen it. I remember it very well !

  • gordon didnt do a thing. try racing a 200mph with limited movemnet. you have your mirrors and spotters. like gordon would put earnhardt into the wall, if he did it on purpose he would have gotten in trouble and also put himself in harm. noone causes a wreck in nascar on prpose...

  • Dale actually finished this race, he got out of the car and realised that all the wheels were still on properly so he told the nascar officials to stop what they were doing so he could see if it would fire up, and it did, so he drove back to the pits so they could tape the spoiler back on, and he went back out and finished

  • Yes, with a broken Collarbone to finish 31st.

  • lol no, he broke his collarbone at Talledaga in 1996

  • Oops Sorry, shoulderblade in this crash

  • @Twister243 not worth the bravery or as some people say, madmanship

  • does anyone has this live?

  • Someone probably has it somewhere. I've seen it in comps. But there's no live version on youtube.

  • @e521soediv they used 2 and still proably do sell this whole race on dvd

  • What place did he finish?

  • 31st

  • Amazing that he did at all.

  • quite a crappy clip twister horrible job thank you very much

  • not my fault

  • wasnt serious just the quality

  • if u click the shrink button it gets a lot better

  • oh, hey it does

  • hahah

  • I remember that race. If i recall correctly, Dale got back out on the track and actually passed some slower cars.

  • yep, he finished 32nd!! =)

  • oops sryy i meant 31st

  • I'm never gonna forget that crash, and I was backin' Dale the whole way!

  • Who do you back now?

  • What does that mean?

  • Who are u a fan of now?

  • Jeff Gordon hence my display picture.

  • I remember what he said during an interview after the crash. He saw the car still had all four wheels on it. As he was heading to the ambulance, he asked a worker who was inside the car to start it up, and when he did, Dale said, "Hey, gimme the car back!"

    R.I.P.

    1951-2001

  • this was the first nascar race i ever watched

  • cool, it was my first also

  • he actually finished 31st

    ernie irvan was 20th

  • thnx
