One jedi never died though we dont see him for the other movies: kit fisto. He only sustained a side wound after the battle with sidious and disappears after a little mace windu vs sidious. Check out the youtube vid "did kit fisto REALLY die?"
@jamez850 Actually a little over 30 Jedi survived the great Jedi purge besides Yoda and Obi-wan. Many of these Jedi were in the outerrim territories and were not immediately affected by order 66. Darth Vader and The Emperor (Darth Sidious) spent several of the first years of the galactic empire hunting down many of these Jedi, however I do not know how many of these Jedi they found.
@elementofhate actually the darkside clouds there ability to see into the future. And the reason the yoda was reluctant to train anakin was if anakin was the choosen one he would bring balance to the force. And at that time there were more jedi then sith so that meant that the majority of jedi HAD to die in order to bring balance. Think about this after episode 3 there were 2 jedi and 2 sith! When luke started his training obi wan had to die so there would be two jedi and two sith and so on.
@ghost27blade Goddammit when will people learn the real name of this song? Its called Lux Aeterna. Yes, its from the movie Requiem for a Dream, but we don't refer to The Imperial March as The Empire Strikes Back, do we?!
@SBWaffelmann hmm that would make sense. but you think yoda already knew in episode 1 what is gonna happen in episode 6? thats a bit...far off into the future. but yeah you could be right
@SBWaffelmann hmm i think you're wrong. qui-gon knew he had the chosen one. and he was convinced, even against all odds (anakins fear level) that he would save the jedi. yoda did not share his optimism and therefore forbid the training of anakin. however qui-gon just had to push it. IF what you say is true, then like yoda, qui-gon wouldve left anakin on tatooine, and never risk the extermination of all the jedi.
hmmz nice but i wouldnt call the vid "sees the future". cuss well, reading your description and qui-gon's final words (train anakin) then dont really add up ;)
