If you listen to it its talking about a twisted government. And the whole time Ichigo is trying to save Rukia he is fighting the GOVERNMENT of the soul society and its twisted laws. So if you'd actually LISTEN it fits Ichigo perfectly.

Most music hits and starts it's release in Japan unless it's just a true America only band and there are not too many of those in the rock genre. The key is if you can make it in Japan, you can make it anywhere. Hence while a lot of bands now do "Big in Japan" CDs.

The war imagery is just used as a metaphor for America's campaign against the AIDS virus. The song writer has confirmed this in an interview. So anyone have any idea why this song was chosen? Does the character have some connection to AIDS or is this just a case of the creator not knowing what the song was about?

it may not be intended to literally represent the character, the theme of the song doesnt always have to be the reason they chose it. i think it may be because it has such chaotic guitarwork but still manages to stay on the verge of controllable. in my opinion its not the lyrics that are to be accepted, its the actual instrumentals.
