For my laptop it had a driver issue with the video chip. Do take into consideration my laptop is going on 8 years old. Dell Inspiron 1721 With an ATI cpu. I have installed it with other ati and it works fine.

Ive used it on Multiple Computers, Three Laptops, one desktop.

Windows 8 can't be compared to Mac OS 10.7. Reason being, apple did not kill its UI like Windows 8 is doing. And look at the stocks, Apple is making way more money than Microsoft. It was once at the top until Exxon Mobile took the spot. I think with this release of Windows 8, I will be sticking to my Mac.

@CynicalHOODZ19 idunno, i like the other options. they're not an ipad but they have some decent tablets that are not from apple. i just ordered a china tablet with a cortex a9 and capacitive screen for less than $150. honestly, i think i would avoid an ipad even if budget allowed. it's not going to be like the pricey units but it's still going to be decent. to be honest, just wondering, why are you talking about tablets on video talking about win 8?

Apple inc bases most of their products around a social friendly os so actually they're more geared towards gaming with stock parts. Windows is based on corporate and professional platforms. Needless to say...get the fundamentals down before you start picking apart the specifics of os's.

Dude i used Win8 and its not even close they are trying to make a pc that make it touch friendly so that it works on tablets and laptops as thet is the future and desktops are fading. This will allow them to have more apps than IOS if the OS ports windows app to tablets. The vision is right lets just hope they do it right. And its not laggy at all i installec it in a old xp pc and made it run faster

ITS A PRE BETA A DEVELOPER PREVIEW also windows and mac osx are completely different windows 8 was made for tablets and I have no lag running windows 8 on my laptop. Windows 8 is completely different its still in a pre beta. Two things windows 8 and android are both targeted at developers lots of things in a Pre beta will only be used as a developer. Mac osx also is different from windows but is still on UNIX so it will operate just the same as a Linus machine,Microsoft doesn't steal idea's
