not at all, entwistle's tone is one of the classic bass tones (along with jaco's and jamerson's) though it doesn't work in all genres.

Is that an Ibanez tube screamer on the floor. Are you using it to dirty up the sound a little. There are some pretty good mods for bass online for the TS since they tend to scoop the mids pretty hard.

Yes that is a tube screamer on the floor, but it is not connected to my amp. The guitarist left it there...
