This is so easy to understand. She was on the ground floor (1st floor), so the elevator couldn't go down anymore. So, the first elevator was actually a ghost elevator. If she had taken it, she would have fallen to her death and joined the ghosts. The second elevator arrival was the real elevator.

...and this is why I always take the stairs. Apart from never meeting ghostly elevator passengers or having to fear plummeting to my death, I get some good cardio workout!

@0Blues horror movies have upgraded. Now ghosts also take the stairs. Imagine you walking up the stair and hearing foot steps from behind slowly approaching. Regardless, I still hate taking the elevator alone. What's scary about elevator is that sometimes when you push the close button and nothing happen, then it opens again but nobody is there. When that happens I always make sure to step to the side, leaving space to whatever just step in...if there is...just saying lol

Do ppl seriously hate taking the stairs or something? In another short film (unrelated to this one), a girl tells her friend to NOT take the elevator, but she takes it anyway. In this one, after seeing what she just saw, she STILL decides to use it. I know the one she gets into is the actual elevator, but still....

@fatjuicy of course!XD lol, at my school i take the elevator even though its only for handicapped. other people ride too, but they scream and jump on it.

@fatjuicy i had a Japanese friend once who was always looking for an elevator despite seeing the stairs in front of him (he was kinda shocked he had to take the stairs, like it's ridiculous or something xD)...idk, maybe they're just fond of elevators ^^;;

I can't believe it took me so long to get this one. When the door openend there was no elevator. If she had walked inside she probably would have plunged to her death because the real elevator hadn't arrived yet.

@montecristo73returns isn't it more like its cuz she's on the lowest possible floor, so there is no elevator going down! Maybe if she did take it, she wouldve ended up in Hell or something

@montecristo73returns Now that u have mentioned it.. you are right ! I heard from asian folk tales that spirit that are died in accident often come back and tricks the living into killing him or herself .. so that in returns their spirit can be replace and set free of that place... For example accident in highways always occurs in the very same spot over and over again. Etc... In this case it is the elevator.

@montecristo73returns My uncle once fell down a building with some major injuries but recovered from it. He told me as he reach out to get something he notice someone hovering and calling his name..in that very moment to his surprised he lost balance and fell over. Luckily it wasnt that high up and he is now well and happy.

@montecristo73returns Well,there is no bottom floor.Assuming the place doesn't have a basement or a key is required to be used inside the elevator to go to the basement.
